he that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
من يجمع في الصيف فهو ابن عاقل ومن ينام في الحصاد فهو ابن مخز

he said unto them, give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. and they laughed him to scorn.
قال لهم تنحوا. فان الصبية لم تمت لكنها نائمة. فضحكوا عليه.

and when he was come in, he saith unto them, why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
فدخل وقال لهم لماذا تضجون وتبكون. لم تمت الصبية لكنها نائمة.

these things said he: and after that he saith unto them, our friend lazarus sleepeth; but i go, that i may awake him out of sleep.
قال هذا وبعد ذلك قال لهم. لعازر حبيبنا قد نام. لكني اذهب لأوقظه.

for they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
لانهم يقربون قلوبهم في مكيدتهم كالتنور. كل الليل ينام خبازهم وفي الصباح يكون محمى كنار ملتهبة.

and it came to pass at noon, that elijah mocked them, and said, cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
وعند الظهر سخر بهم ايليا وقال ادعوا بصوت عال لانه اله. لعله مستغرق او في خلوة او في سفر او لعله نائم فيتنبّه.
