hold not thy peace, o god of my praise;
အကျွန်ုပ် ချီးမွမ်းသော ဘုရားသခင်၊ တိတ် ဆိတ်စွာနေတော်မမူပါနှင့်။

praise ye the lord. praise the lord, o my soul.
အိုငါ့ဝိညာဉ်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကိုချီးမွမ်းလော့။

but i will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
အကျွန်ုပ်မူကား၊ အစဉ်မြော်လင့်၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းသမျှထက် သာ၍ ချီးမွမ်းပါမည်။

for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of god.
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော်မူသော ဘုန်းအသရေထက် လူတို့ပေးသော ဘုန်းအသရေကို သာ၍နှစ်သက်ကြ၏။

and my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
အကျွန်ုပ်သည်လည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ဖြောင့်မတ် တော်မူခြင်း အကြောင်းအရာကို မြွတ်ဆို၍အစဉ်မပြတ် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပါမည်။

ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ်တော်မူသော ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်မှာ မင်္ဂလာရှိတော် မူစေသတည်း။ ဟာလေလုယ။

all thy works shall praise thee, o lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.
အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူသမျှတို့သည် ဂုဏ်တော်တို့ကို ပြ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ သန့်ရှင်း သူတို့သည် ကောင်းကြီးပေးကြ ပါ၏။

give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမကျင့်ရာ အကျိုးကိုပေးလော့။ သူပြုသောအမှုသည် မြို့တံခါးတို့၌ သူ၏အသရေကို ထင်ရှားစေသတည်း။

be thou exalted, lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အစွမ်း တန်ခိုးအားဖြင့် ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်းရှိတော်မူစေသတည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် တန်ခိုးတော်ကို ထောမနာသီချင်း ဆိုကြပါမည်။

အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကောင်းကင်သည် အံ့ဘွယ် သော အမှုတော်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောသူတို့သည် စည်းဝေးလျက် သစ္စာတော်ကို၎င်း ချီးမွမ်းကြပါစေသော။

i will praise thee, o lord my god, with all my heart: and i will glorify thy name for evermore.
အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို စိတ်နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့ ချီးမွမ်း ၍၊ နာမတော်ကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ချီးမြှောက်ပါမည်။

in the courts of the lord's house, in the midst of thee, o jerusalem. praise ye the lord.
အိုယေရုရှလင်မြို့၊ သင်၏အလယ်မှာ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်တန်တိုင်းအတွင်းတွင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ လူများရှေ့၌သစ္စာဝတ်ကို ဖြေပါမည်။ ဟာလေလုယ။

ye that fear the lord, praise him; all ye the seed of jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of israel.
ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သော အချင်းတို့၊ ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းကို ပြုကြလော့။ ယာကုပ်အမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့၊ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ဘော်ပြကြပါလော့။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ကြလော့။

and at midnight paul and silas prayed, and sang praises unto god: and the prisoners heard them.
