Եւ Փիլիպպոսը Բեթսայիդայից էր, Անդրէասի եւ Պետրոսի քաղաքից:

and he cometh to bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
Եկան Բեթսայիդա. եւ նրա առաջ բերեցին մի կոյրի ու աղաչում էին, որ դիպչի նրան:

and straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
Իսկոյն եւեթ Յիսուս շտապեցրեց աշակերտներին, որ նաւակ մտնեն եւ իրենից առաջ գնան հանդիպակաց կողմը՝ դէպի Բեթսայիդա, մինչեւ ինքը ժողովրդին արձակէր:

the same came therefore to philip, which was of bethsaida of galilee, and desired him, saying, sir, we would see jesus.
Նրանք մօտեցան Փիլիպպոսին, որ Գալիլիայի Բեթսայիդա քաղաքից էր. աղաչում էին նրան ու ասում. «Տէ՛ր, ուզում ենք Յիսուսին տեսնել»:

and the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. and he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called bethsaida.
Առաքեալները վերադարձան եւ Յիսուսին պատմեցին այն ամէնը, ինչ որ արեցին. եւ նա նրանց հետն առնելով՝ քաշուեց առանձնացաւ ամայի մի տեղ, մօտակայքը մի քաղաքի, որ Բեթսայիդա էր կոչւում:

woe unto thee, chorazin! woe unto thee, bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in tyre and sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
«Վա՜յ քեզ, Քորազին, վա՜յ քեզ, Բեթսայիդա, որովհետեւ եթէ Տիւրոսում եւ Սիդոնում եղած լինէին այն զօրաւոր գործերը, որ կատարուեցին ձեր մէջ, արդարեւ վաղուց իսկ քուրձերի մէջ ու մոխրի վրայ նստած՝ ապաշխարած կը լինէին:
