በከተማው ያሉ ሴቶችም « የዐዚዝ ሚስት ብላቴናዋን ከነፍሱ ታባብለዋለች ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ ፍቅሩ ልቧን መቷታል ፡ ፡ እኛ በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ ሆና በእርግጥ እናያታለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
እነሆ፥ መርከቦች ደግሞ ይህን ያህል ታላቅ ቢሆኑ በዐውሎ ነፋስም ቢነዱ፥ የመሪ ፈቃድ ወደሚወደው ስፍራ እጅግ ታናሽ በሆነ መቅዘፊያ ይመራሉ።

certain women in the city said : ' the governor 's wife has sought to seduce her servant . he has made her heart stricken with love for him .
በከተማው ያሉ ሴቶችም « የዐዚዝ ሚስት ብላቴናዋን ከነፍሱ ታባብለዋለች ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ ፍቅሩ ልቧን መቷታል ፡ ፡ እኛ በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ ሆና በእርግጥ እናያታለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

the governor ’ s wife then said , “ now the truth is out . it was i who tried to seduce him , and he is telling the truth . ”
( ንጉሡም ) ፡ - « ዩሱፍን ከነፍሱ ባባበላችሁት ጊዜ ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « ለአላህ ጥራት ይገባው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ ምንም መጥፎን ነገር አላወቅንም » አሉት ፡ ፡ የዐዚዝ ሚስት ፡ - « አሁን እውነቱ ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከነፍሱ አባበልኩት ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው » አለች ፡ ፡

so when the governor saw his shirt torn from behind , he said , “ indeed this is a deception of women ; undoubtedly the deception of women is very great . ”
ቀሚሱንም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ ባየ ጊዜ « እርሱ ( የተናገርሺው ) ከተንኮላችሁ ነው ( ሴቶች ) ተንኮላችሁ በእርግጥ ብርቱ ነውና » አላት ፡ ፡

' we know no evil against him . ' the governor 's wife said , ' now the truth is at last discovered ; i solicited him ; he is a truthful man .
( ንጉሡም ) ፡ - « ዩሱፍን ከነፍሱ ባባበላችሁት ጊዜ ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « ለአላህ ጥራት ይገባው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ ምንም መጥፎን ነገር አላወቅንም » አሉት ፡ ፡ የዐዚዝ ሚስት ፡ - « አሁን እውነቱ ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከነፍሱ አባበልኩት ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው » አለች ፡ ፡
