after that the bhagirathi and the alaknanda meets at devprayag which is located at a height of 1500 feet and from here the merged water - flow flows forward with the name of ganga .
इसके बाद भागीरथी व अलकनन्दा १५०० फीट पर स्थित देव प्रयाग में संगम करती हैं यहाँ से यह सम्मिलित जल - धारा गंगा नदी के नाम से आगे प्रवाहित होती है ।
