balarama das tells us how , when ravana was carrying away sita in his chariot and had to fight the bird jatayu who came to obstruct him , she took a chance to escape , stealthily getting out of the chariot and taking cover in the forest .
बलराम दास बताते हैं कि जब सीता को ले जाते हुए रावण को जटायु से , जिसने उसे रोकने की कोशिश की , लड़ना पडा तब सीता चोरीछिपे रथ से उतर कर जंगल में छुप गयीं ।

further , at the sight of jatayu lying in a pool of blood , valmiki ' s rama suspects that the cannibalistic eagle must have killed sita and devoured her and , therefore , attempts to shoot him with an arrow .
साथ ही , जटायु को खून के डबरे में पड़े हुए देखकर राम सन्देह करते हैं कि मांसाहारी गिद्ध ने सीता को मारकर उसे खा लिया होगा , और इसलिए वे उसे बाण से मारने को उद्यत होते हैं ।

keeping his thoughts centred on his golden - breasted daughter - in - law and his two sons , jatayu started patrolling the vicinity , kamban , who has the incomparable ability to get out of the human shell , now looks at the three from inside the tender heart and through the anxious eyes of the bird and says : jatayu watched the three as the mother - bird would watch her fledglings inside the nest .
