os pacientes tratados foram crianças com paralisia cerebral (n=38), divididos em 2 grupos e seus controles. o primeiro grupo (n=26), as crianças (n=20) foram submetidas a cinesioterapia após aplicação dérmica do oeas a 33%/ óleo vegetal, nas doses conforme idade e músculos espásticos e seu controle (n=06) as crianças foram submetidas apenas a cinesioterapia e óleo vegetal. neste grupo as crianças tratadas com o óleo essencial foram avaliadas quanto a função estática e dinâmica. no segundo grupo (n= 12), as crianças (n=06) foram submetidas a cinesioterapia após inalação do oeas; e seu grupo controle as crianças (n=06) foram submetidas apenas a cinesioterapia e inalação com soro fisiológico. ao todo foram avaliados 371 grupos musculares nos grupos tratados e seus controles. neste grupo também as crianças tratadas com o óleo essencial foram avaliadas quanto a função estática e dinâmica.
