fain would they put out the light of allah with their mouths, but allah will perfect his light however much the disbelievers are averse.
waxay doonayaan (gaaladu) inay nuurka (xaqa) eebe ku bakhtiiyaan afkooda eebena wuu taam yeeli nuurkiisa haba naceen gaaladuye.

say, "if his punishment comes upon you in the dead of night, or by the light of day, how will the guilty escape it?
waxaad dhahdaa bal ka warrama hadduu idiinku yimaaddo cadaabkiisu (eebe) mir ama maalin maxay ka dedejisan xaggiisa dambiilayaashu.

fain would they extinguish the light of allah is with their mouths and allah is going to perfect his light, even though averse may be the infidels.
waxay doonayaan (gaaladu) inay nuurka (xaqa) eebe ku bakhtiiyaan afkooda eebena wuu taam yeeli nuurkiisa haba naceen gaaladuye.

afterward you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
ka dibna waxaad u arkaysaan nartaas si yaqiin ah.

again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty
ka dibna waxaad u arkaysaan nartaas si yaqiin ah.

so no soul knows the comfort of the eyes that is kept hidden for them*; the reward of their deeds. (paradise)
ma oga nafu waxa loo qariyay kuwaas oo indho ku qaboowsadaan abaal marin waxay camalfalayeen dartiis.

he knows that which deceives the eyes and what the breasts conceal.

if any do fail to judge by (the light of) what allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) unbelievers.
ciddaan xukumin wuxuu soo dejiyey eebe kuwaasi waa gaalo uun.

and a sign for them is the night. we remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
waxaaa dadka calaamo ugu filan habeenkaan maalinta ka soo siibno, oo markaas ay mugdi galaan dadkii.
