the thunder celebrates his praise and holiness, and the angels, too, celebrate his praise for awe of him.

he sends down thunder-bolts to strike whomever he wants, while they are busy arguing about the existence of god.
naye hupeleka mapigo ya radi yakampata amtakaye. nao wanabishana juu ya mwenyezi mungu.

or it is like that of a rain storm with darkness, thunder, and lightning approaching. they cover their ears for fear of thunder and death.
au ni kama mvua kubwa itokayo mbinguni, ina giza na radi na umeme; wakawa wakitia vidole vyao masikioni mwao kwa ajili ya mingurumo, kwa kuogopa kufa.

and the thunder halloweth his praise, and so do the angels in awe of him; and he sendeth the thunderbolts and smiteth therewith whomsoever he will.

or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. they put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death.
au ni kama mvua kubwa itokayo mbinguni, ina giza na radi na umeme; wakawa wakitia vidole vyao masikioni mwao kwa ajili ya mingurumo, kwa kuogopa kufa.

and the thunder declares his glory with his praise, and the angels too for awe of him; and he sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom he pleases, yet they dispute concerning allah, and he is mighty in prowess.

and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
na kuita kwa sauti kubwa kama ya mngurumo wa simba. alipopaaza sauti, ngurumo saba ziliitikia kwa kishindo.
