but when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "this is what you were calling for."

நிச்சயமாக நிராகரிப்பவர்கள், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையை விட்டும் தடுப்பதற்காக தங்கள் செல்வங்களை செலவு செய்கின்றனர்; (இவ்வாறே அவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து) அவற்றை செலவு செய்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள் - முடிவில் (அது) அவர்களுக்கே துக்கமாக அமைந்துவிடும்; பின்னர் அவர்கள் வெற்றி கொள்ளப்படுவார்கள்; (இறுதியில்) நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் நரகத்தில் ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படுவார்கள்.

but those who rejected the truth [will be asked], "when my revelations were recited to you, were you not arrogant and did you not persist in wicked deeds?
ஆனால், நிராகரித்தவர்களிடம்; "உங்களுக்கு என் வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டு இருக்கவில்லையா? அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டு குற்றவாளிகளாக இருந்தீர்கள்" (என்று சொல்லப்படும்).

these two groups, [the believers and those who deny the truth], dispute concerning their lord. those who deny the truth will have garments of fire cut out for them; and boiling water will be poured down over their heads,
(முஃமின்களும், முஃமின்களல்லாதவருமான) இரு தரப்பாரும் தம் இறைவனைப் பற்றித் தர்க்கிக்கின்றனர்; ஆனால் எவர் (இறைவனை) நிராகரிக்கிறாhகளோ அவர்களுக்கு நெருப்பிலிருந்து ஆடைகள் தாயாரிக்கப்படும்; கொதிக்கும் நீர் அவர்கள் தரைகளின் மேல் ஊற்றப்படும்.

(despite the clear details of our guidance in the book) do they still wait for further interpretations? on the day (of judgment) when its interpretations will be revealed, those who had ignored its guidance will confess, saying, "the messengers of our lord had certainly come to us with the truth. will anyone intercede for us or send us back (to life) so that we would be able to act in a different manner to that which we had done before?" these people have certainly lost their souls and their evil inventions (which they had used for false excuses) will vanish.
இவர்கள் (தங்களுக்கு எச்சரிக்கை செய்யப்பட்டு வந்த) இறுதியையன்றி வேறு எதையும் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்களா? அந்தத் தண்டனை நாள் வந்தபொழுது, இதற்குமுன் அதனை முற்றிலும் மறந்திருந்த இவர்கள், "நிச்சயமாக எங்கள் இறைவனின் தூதர்கள் சத்திய(வேத)த்தையே கொண்டு வந்தனர், எங்களுக்குப் பரிந்து பேசக்கூடியவர்கள் எவரும் இருக்கின்றனரா? அவ்வாறாயின் அவர்கள் எங்களுக்காகப் பரிந்து பேசட்டும்; அல்லது நாங்கள் (உலகத்திற்குத்) திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படுவோமா? அப்படியாயின், நாங்கள் முன்செய்து கொண்டிருந்த (தீய)வற்றை விட்டு வேறு (நன்மைகளையே) செய்வோம்" என்று கூறுவார்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் தமக்குத் தாமே இழப்புக்கு ஆளாக்கிக் கொண்டார்கள், அவர்கள் கற்பனை செய்து வந்தவை அவர்களை விட்டு மறைந்து விடும்.
