nay! when the earth is made to crumble to pieces,
หามิได้ เมื่อแผ่นดินถูกทำให้สั่นสะเทือนเป็นผุยผง

and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces
และบรรดาภูเขาได้แตกสลาย

the sky will cleave asunder on that day and fall to pieces.
และชั้นฟ้าก็จะแยกออก แล้วมันก็จะอ่อนกำลังลงอย่างไม่เป็นระเบียบในวันนั้น

and what will explain to thee that which breaks to pieces?
และอะไรเล่าที่ทำให้เจ้ารู้ได้ว่า ไฟนรก (อัลฮุเฏาะมะฮฺ) นั้นคืออะไร ?

by no means! he will be sure to be thrown into that which breaks to pieces,
มิใช่เช่นนั้น แน่นอนเขาจะถูกโยนลงไปในไฟนรก (อัลฮุเฏามะฮฺ)

so he smashed them up to pieces with the exception of the biggest, so that they may turn to it.
ดังนั้น เขาได้ทำให้มันแหลกลาญ เหลือไว้เพียงรูปปั้นตัวใหญ่สำหรับพวกเขา หวังว่าพวกเขาจะได้กลับไปสอบถามมัน

so he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it.
ดังนั้น เขาได้ทำให้มันแหลกลาญ เหลือไว้เพียงรูปปั้นตัวใหญ่สำหรับพวกเขา หวังว่าพวกเขาจะได้กลับไปสอบถามมัน

what mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the lord god of hosts.

the building which they built will never cease to be a misgiving in their hearts unless their hearts be torn to pieces. allah is knower, wise.

i was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
ข้าอยู่สบาย และพระองค์ทรงหักข้าสะบั้น เออ พระองค์ทรงฉวยคอข้า และฟาดข้าลงเป็นชิ้นๆ พระองค์ทรงตั้งข้าให้เป็นเป้าของพระองค

had we sent down this quran upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled go to pieces with the fear of allah. we draw such comparisons for mankind, so that they may reflect.
หากเราประทานอัลกุรอานนี้ลงมาบนภูเขาลูกหนึ่ง แน่นอนเจ้าจะเห็นมันนอบน้อมแตกแยกออกเป็นเสี่ยงๆ เนื่องเพราะความกลัวต่ออัลลอฮฺ อุปมาเหล่านี้เราได้ยกมันมาเปรียบเทียบสำหรับมนุษย์เพื่อพวกเขาจะได้พิจารณาใคร่ครวญ

the unbelievers say, 'shall we point you to a man who will tell you, when you have been utterly torn to pieces, then you shall be in a new creation?'
และบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาได้กล่าว (เยาะเย้ย) ว่า “เราจะชี้แนะแก่พวกท่านไหมเล่าถึงชายคนหนึ่งที่เขาจะบอกเล่าแก่พวกท่านว่า เมื่อพวกท่านถูกทำให้แตกสลายกระจัดกระจายเป็นผุยผงแล้ว พวกท่านจะถูกบังเกิดขึ้นมาใหม่"

the foundation of those who so build is never free from suspicion and shakiness in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to pieces. and allah is all-knowing, wise.
อาคารของพวกเขาที่ก่อสร้างขึ้นมานั้นยังคงเป็นที่ระแวงสงสัยอยู่ในจิตใจของพวกเขาจนกระทั่งวหัวใจเหล่านั้นจะแตกออกเป็นเสี่ยง ๆ และอัลลอฮ์นั้นเป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ ผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

the faithless say, ‘shall we show you a man who will inform you [that] when you have been totally rent to pieces you will indeed have a new creation?
และบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาได้กล่าว (เยาะเย้ย) ว่า “เราจะชี้แนะแก่พวกท่านไหมเล่าถึงชายคนหนึ่งที่เขาจะบอกเล่าแก่พวกท่านว่า เมื่อพวกท่านถูกทำให้แตกสลายกระจัดกระจายเป็นผุยผงแล้ว พวกท่านจะถูกบังเกิดขึ้นมาใหม่"

the edifice they have built will always fill their minds with perturbation (which will not cease) till their hearts are rent to pieces, for god is all-knowing and all-wise.
อาคารของพวกเขาที่ก่อสร้างขึ้นมานั้นยังคงเป็นที่ระแวงสงสัยอยู่ในจิตใจของพวกเขาจนกระทั่งวหัวใจเหล่านั้นจะแตกออกเป็นเสี่ยง ๆ และอัลลอฮ์นั้นเป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ ผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

and all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will i lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
รูปเคารพแกะสลักทั้งสิ้นของเมืองนั้นจะถูกทุบเป็นชิ้นๆ ค่าจ้างทั้งสิ้นของเมืองนั้นจะถูกเผาเสียด้วยไฟ และเราจะกระทำให้รูปเคารพทั้งสิ้นของเมืองนั้นถูกทิ้งร้าง เพราะเมืองนั้นรวบรวมรูปเคารพเหล่านี้มาด้วยค่าจ้างของหญิงแพศยา และมันจะกลับเป็นค่าจ้างของหญิงแพศย

(here is) a parable of the garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. in it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and grace from their lord. (can those in such bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?
อุปมาของสวนสวรรค์ซึ่งบรรดาผู้ยำเกรงได้ถูกสัญญาไว้ในสวนสวรรค์นั้นมีธารน้ำหลายสายที่ไม่ผันแปร (ทั้งรสและกลิ่น) และธารน้ำนมหลายสาย ที่รสชาติของมันไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง และธารน้ำจัณฑ์ (เหล้า) หลายสายเป็นโอชะอร่อยแก่ผู้ดื่ม และธารน้ำผึ้งที่สะอาดบริสุทธิ์หลายสาย และสำหรับพวกเขาในสวนสวรรค์นั้นมีผลไม้หลายชนิด และการอภัยโทษจากพระเจ้าของพวกเขาจะเหมือนกับผู้ที่พำนักอยู่ในไฟนรก และถูกให้ดื่มน้ำร้อนจัดแล้วมันตัดลำไส้ของพวกเขากระนั้นหรือ?
