upon seeing the truth,
དེས་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་ནས།

having become a god, saw the truth in the blessed one’s
ལྷར་གྱུར་པས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་བར་བྱས་ཏེ་

one established in the truths
བདེན་པ་དག་ལ་བཀོད་པ་ན། །

having become a god, saw the truth in the blessed one’s presence before returning to remain among the gods.
ལྷར་གྱུར་པས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་བར་བྱས་ཏེ། ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་ན་འདུག་པ་མཐོང་ནས་

the karma that led them to experience the hell realms was exhausted and they took rebirth as gods or humans, forms in which they became fit vessels for the truth.
སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་མྱོང་བར་འགྱུར་བའི་ལས་དེ་ཟད་པར་བྱས་ནས་གང་དུ་བདེན་པ་དག་གི་སྣོད་དུ་གྱུར་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་ཉིང་མཚམས་སྦྱོར་བ་ལེན་པར་བྱེད་དོ།

while passing through the karpāsī forest, he convinced a noble band of sixty youths of the truths.
རས་བལ་ཅན་གྱི་ཚལ་གསེབ་ཏུ་གཤེགས་ནས་བཟང་སྡེའི་ཚོགས་དྲུག་བཅུ་བདེན་པ་དག་ལ་བཀོད་དོ། །

he convinced the village headman’s daughters, nandā and nandabalā, of the truths.
གྲོང་པའི་བུ་མོ་དགའ་མོ་དང་། དགའ་སྟོབས་མ་གཉིས་བདེན་པ་དག་ལ་བཀོད་དོ། །

all present realized the truths and in that moment achieved the fruit of a non-returner and with it, miraculous abilities.
