to a holding or shed of such holding in the same member state provided that appropriate biosecurity measures are applied and the holding is placed under official surveillance following the transport and day-old chicks shall remain on the holding of destination for at least 21 days, or

in afwijking van artikel 22 kan de bevoegde autoriteit onder de volgende voorwaarden toestaan dat eendagskuikens afkomstig uit bedrijven binnen de beschermingszone rechtstreeks vervoerd worden naar een bedrijf of een stal op een bedrijf in dezelfde lidstaat en bij voorkeur buiten de beschermings- en toezichtsgebieden gelegen:
by way of derogation from article 22, the competent authority may authorise the direct transport of day-old chicks, originating from holdings within the protection zone to a holding or shed of that holding in the same member state, preferably located outside the protection and the surveillance zones, subject to the following conditions:

14) "eendagskuikens": alle pluimvee dat nog geen 72 uur oud is en nog niet gevoerd is; muskuseenden (cairina moschata) of kruisingen, nog geen 72 uur oud, al dan niet gevoerd;
"day-old chicks" means all poultry less than 72 hours old, not yet fed, and muscovy ducks (cairina moschata) or their crosses, less than 72 hours old, whether or not fed;
