የተወደደ ወንድምና የታመነ አገልጋይ በጌታም አብሮኝ ባሪያ የሆነ ቲኪቆስ ኑሮዬን ሁሉ ያስታውቃችኋል።

ነገር ግን እናንተ ደግሞ እንዴት እንዳለሁ ኑሮዬን እንድታውቁ የተወደደ ወንድምና በጌታ የታመነ አገልጋይ ቲኪቆስ ሁሉን ያስታውቃችኋል፤
but that ye also may know my affairs, and how i do, tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the lord, shall make known to you all things:

ነገር ግን ሁሉ አለኝ ይበዛልኝማል፤ የመዓዛ ሽታና የተወደደ መሥዋዕት የሚሆነውን ለእግዚአብሔርም ደስ የሚያሰኘውን ስጦታችሁን ከአፍሮዲጡ ተቀብዬ ተሞልቼአለሁ።
but i have all, and abound: i am full, having received of epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to god.

ጴጥሮስም አፉን ከፍቶ እንዲህ አለ። እግዚአብሔር ለሰው ፊት እንዳያደላ ነገር ግን በአሕዛብ ሁሉ እርሱን የሚፈራና ጽድቅን የሚያደርግ በእርሱ የተወደደ እንደ ሆነ በእውነት አስተዋልሁ።
