בתהלתנו אשר יש לי במשיח ישוע אדנינו מעיד אני עלי כי מת אנכי בכל יום ויום׃

haec sunt sacrificia quae offerre debetis agnos anniculos inmaculatos duos cotidie in holocaustum sempiternu
ואמרת להם זה האשה אשר תקריבו ליהוה כבשים בני שנה תמימם שנים ליום עלה תמיד׃

אשרי אדם שמע לי לשקד על דלתתי יום יום לשמר מזוזת פתחי׃

ואהי אצלכם יום יום בהיכל ולא שלחתם בי יד ואולם זאת היא שעתכם ושלטן החשך׃

et omnis quidem sacerdos praesto est cotidie ministrans et easdem saepe offerens hostias quae numquam possunt auferre peccat
וכל כהן עמד יום יום לשרת ומוסיף פעמים רבות להקריב אתן הקרבנות אשר לא יוכלו לעולם להעביר חטאים׃

hii autem erant nobiliores eorum qui sunt thessalonicae qui susceperunt verbum cum omni aviditate cotidie scrutantes scripturas si haec ita se haberen
ואלה היו נדיבים מאנשי תסלוניקי ויקבלו את הדבר בכל לב וידרשו בכתובים יום יום לדעת אם כן הוא הדבר׃

mittebat autem dominus deus patrum suorum ad illos per manum nuntiorum suorum de nocte consurgens et cotidie commonens eo quod parceret populo et habitaculo su
וישלח יהוה אלהי אבותיהם עליהם ביד מלאכיו השכם ושלוח כי חמל על עמו ועל מעונו׃

praecepit ergo rex sedecias ut traderetur hieremias in vestibulo carceris et daretur ei torta panis cotidie excepto pulmento donec consumerentur omnes panes de civitate et mansit hieremias in vestibulo carceri
ועתה שמע נא אדני המלך תפל נא תחנתי לפניך ואל תשבני בית יהונתן הספר ולא אמות שם׃

duces autem primi qui fuerant ante me gravaverunt populum et acceperunt ab eis in pane vino et pecunia cotidie siclos quadraginta sed et ministri eorum depresserant populum ego autem non feci ita propter timorem de
והפחות הראשנים אשר לפני הכבידו על העם ויקחו מהם בלחם ויין אחר כסף שקלים ארבעים גם נעריהם שלטו על העם ואני לא עשיתי כן מפני יראת אלהים׃
