even as sara obeyed abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

ideo ex fide ut secundum gratiam ut firma sit promissio omni semini non ei qui ex lege est solum sed et ei qui ex fide est abrahae qui est pater omnium nostru
therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of abraham; who is the father of us all,
