baraka za mungu ziwe nasi siku ya leo
god's blessings are with me today.

atimizaye ahadi za mungu onastahili kuhimidiwa
the one who keeps the promises of god who is worthy of praise

leo ilikua ni siku yenye baraka tele za mungu
today is a day of god's blessings.

kwani wao ndio wanao gawa rehema za mola wako mlezi?
are they the distributors of your lord’s mercy?

kuwa na mtu ambaye anakutanguliza mbele za mungu ni bahati kubwa
in front of god

ama ile jahazi ilikuwa ya masikini za mungu wafanyao kazi baharini.

hakika wale walio amini na wale walio hama na wakapigania njia ya mwenyezi mungu, hao ndio wanao taraji rehema za mwenyezi mungu.
but those who believe and those who migrate and struggle in the way of allah, those, have hope of the mercy of allah.

but the believers, and those who emigrate and struggle in god's way -- those have hope of god's compassion; and god is all-forgiving, all-compassionate.

je! afanyae ibada nyakati za usiku kwa kusujudu na kusimama akitahadhari na akhera, na akitaraji rehema za mola wake mlezi...
can one who prays in the watches of the night, bowing in homage or standing attentive, fearful of the life to come, and hoping for the mercy of his lord, (be like one who does not)?
