for in thee, o lord, do i hope: thou wilt hear, o lord my god.

yehova, thixo wam, ndazibika kuwe, wandiphilisa;
o lord my god, i cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

ndiya kubulela kuwe, nkosi yam, thixo wam, ngentliziyo yonke, ndilizukise igama lakho ngonaphakade:
i will praise thee, o lord my god, with all my heart: and i will glorify thy name for evermore.

ndincede, yehova, thixo wam, ndisindise ngokwenceba yakho;
help me, o lord my god: o save me according to thy mercy:

thixo wam, ndisize esandleni songendawo, esandleni sogqwethayo nosisibhovubhovu.
deliver me, o my god, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

thixo, musa ukuba kude kum; thixo wam, khawuleza undincede.
o god, be not far from me: o my god, make haste for my help.

ndikhumbulele okulungileyo, thixo wam, ngako konke endikwenzele aba bantu.
think upon me, my god, for good, according to all that i have done for this people.

lithethe ityala lam ngokobulungisa bakho, yehova thixo wam; mabangandivuyeleli;
judge me, o lord my god, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

uthi kuyehova, hlathi lam, mboniselo yam, thixo wam, endikholose ngaye!
i will say of the lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my god; in him will i trust.

bakhumbule, thixo wam, ngenxa yokuhlambela kwabo ububingeleli, nomnqophiso wobubingeleli, nowobulevi.
remember them, o my god, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the levites.

yehova, thixo wam, ukuba ndithe ndenza oku, ukuba kukho ubugqwetha ezandleni zam,
o lord my god, if i have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

kaloku, thixo wam, makavuleke amehlo akho, iindlebe zakho zibazele ukuthandaza okukule ndawo.
now, my god, let, i beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

bheka undiphendule, yehova, thixo wam; khanyisa amehlo am, hleze ndilale ukufa;
consider and hear me, o lord my god: lighten mine eyes, lest i sleep the sleep of death;

eyokudumisa kadavide. ndiya kukuphakamisa, thixo wam, wena kumkani, ndilibonge igama lakho ngonaphakade kanaphakade.
i will extol thee, my god, o king; and i will bless thy name for ever and ever.

ndiya kuyibulela nokuyibulela kuwe ngomrhubhe inyaniso yakho, thixo wam; ndiya kukubethela uhadi, ngcwele kasirayeli.
i will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, o my god: unto thee will i sing with the harp, o thou holy one of israel.

ndikhumbule, thixo wam, ngenxa yoko; musa ukuzicima iinceba zam, endizenzileyo endlwini kathixo wam, nasezigxineni zayo.
remember me, o my god, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that i have done for the house of my god, and for the offices thereof.
