i ne štetujte ljudima stvari njihove, niti pravite nered na zemlji čineći fesad,

allah does not cause the work of the doers of good to go to waste.
uistinu! allah neće dati da propadne nagrada dobročinitelja.

and do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not make mischief in the earth, working corruption.
i ljudima prava njihova ne umanjujte i zlo po zemlji, nered praveći, ne činite,

allah loseth not the wages of the good.
allah doista neće uskratiti nagradu onima koji dobra djela čine.

hinderer of the good, trespasser; sinner.
sprečavatelja dobrog, prestupnika, grješnika,

every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter,
koji je branio da se čine dobra djela i koji je nasilnik i podozriv bio,

for a guidance and a mercy to the good-doers
upute i milosti onima koji budu dobro činili,

and give good tidings (o muhammad) to the good.
i obraduj one koji dobra djela čine!

'o messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely i know the things you do.
o poslanici! jedite od dobrih stvari i činite dobro. uistinu! ja sam o onom šta radite znalac.

and give to the believers the good news that they shall have a great grace from allah.
i obraduj vjernike da će allah na njih veliku milost prosuti,

and we caused them to enter into our mercy, surely they were of the good ones.
i dali smo da oni uđu u milost našu. uistinu, oni su od dobrih.

and commemorate isma'il, elisha, and zul-kifl: each of them was of the company of the good.
i sjeti se ismaila i eljese'a i zulkifla, svi su oni bili dobri.

"but allah has been good to us, and has delivered us from the penalty of the scorching wind.
"pa nam je allah milost darovao i od patnje u ognju nas sačuvao;

and be patient; verily, allah loses not the reward of the good-doers.
i strpi se. pa uistinu, allah neće dati da propane nagrada dobročinitelja.

and we gave her the good news of (the birth of) isaac, and after isaac, of jacob.
tad je obradovasmo ishakom, a iza ishaka, jakubom.

and have patience, (o muhammad), for lo! allah loseth not the wages of the good.
i strpi se. pa uistinu, allah neće dati da propane nagrada dobročinitelja.
