qqaṛen : ur nezmir ara a t-nessekcem ɣer lḥebs deg wass n lɛid, neɣ m'ulac lɣaci ad sekkren ccwal.

and when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
mi d-tewweḍ tmeddit, taflukt nni tella di tlemmast n lebḥeṛ, ma d sidna Ɛisa yeqqim weḥd-es di lberr.

and it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved.
imiren kra n win ineddhen s yisem n sidi ṛebbi ad ițțusellek.

and there appeared unto him an angel of the lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
iḍheṛ-as-d yiwen lmelk n sidi ṛebbi, ibedd ɣer tama tayeffust n udekkan-nni anda sseṛɣayen lebxuṛ.

who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
mačči d ccariɛa i t-yerran d lmuqeddem meɛna yuɣal d lmuqeddem s tezmert n tudert ur nețfaka ;

(for not the hearers of the law are just before god, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
mačči d wid ismeḥsisen kan i ccariɛa i gețwaḥesben d iḥeqqiyen ɣer sidi ṛebbi, meɛna d wid i gxeddmen ayen i d-tenna.

and in the fourth watch of the night jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
mi qṛib ad yali wass, ataya sidna Ɛisa iteddu-d ɣef wuḍar s ufella n waman.

and now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the lord.
tura d acu i tețṛaǧuḍ ? kker aț-tețwaɣeḍseḍ, aț-țizdigeḍ seg ddnubat-ik m'ara tedɛuḍ s yisem-is.

(as it is written in the law of the lord, every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the lord;)

and after these things i saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
mbeɛd ayagi, walaɣ ṛebɛa n lmalayekkat beddent di ṛebɛa tɣemmaṛ n ddunit ; sḥebsent aḍu n ṛebɛa tɣemmaṛ n ddunit iwakken ur d-ițṣuḍu ara waḍu ɣef lqaɛa d lebḥur, neɣ ula ɣef yiwet ttejṛa.

and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
