give ear, o lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
wubekele indlebe umthandazo wam, yehova, ulibazele indlebe izwi lokutarhuzisa kwam.

and the lord heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
waliva uyehova ilizwi lokuthetha kwenu, wanoburhalarhume, wafunga, esithi,

not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.
nakuba kungekho kugonyamela ezandleni zam, uqaqambile umthandazo wam.

and the lord spake unto moses, saying,
wathetha uyehova kumoses, esithi,

give ear to my prayer, o god; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
