odpověděl příbuzný ten: nemohuť koupiti, abych snad nezahladil dědictví svého. uživ ty práva příbuznosti mé, nebo já ho nemohu užiti.

3 tedy řekl příbuznému tomu: díl pole, kteréž bylo bratra našeho elimelecha, prodala noémi, kteráž se navrátila z krajiny moábské.

be good to your parents, to relatives, to orphans, to the needy, and the neighbour who is a kinsman, and the neighbour who is not related to you and your companions and the wayfarers and those whom you rightfully possess.
chovejte se vlídně k rodičům, příbuzným, sirotkům, chudým, sousedovi pokrevně spřízněnému i cizímu, příteli ze sousedství a jdoucímu po cestě boží a těm, jimiž vládne vaše pravice!

11 pakli by ani strýců neměl, tedy dáte dědictví jeho příteli jeho, kterýž jest nejbližší jemu v rodu jeho, aby dědičně obdržel je. a bude to synům izraelským za ustanovení soudné, jakož přikázal hospodin mojžíšovi.
