succoured you with flocks and sons ,
''আর তিনি তোমাদের সাহায্য করেছেন গবাদি-পশু ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দিয়ে,

that they shall certainly be succoured ,
অবশ ্ যই তারা সাহায ্ য প ্ রাপ ্ ত হয় ।

and fear him who has succoured you with what you know ,
''আর ভয়-ভক্তি কর তাঁকে যিনি তোমাদের মদদ করেছেন যা তোমরা শিখেছ তা দিয়ে, --

implore not to-day ; verily ye from us are not to be succoured .
''আজ আর্তনাদ করো না, নিঃসন্দেহ তোমাদের ক্ষেত্রে -- আমাদের থেকে তোমাদের সাহায্য করা হবে না।

and they have taken beside allah gods , hoping that haply they may be succoured .
আর তারা আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ কে বাদ দিয়ে উপাস ্ যদের গ ্ রহণ করেছে যাতে তাদের সাহায ্ য করা হয় ।

a day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all , nor will they be succoured .
সেইদিন তাদের চাল-চক ্ রান ্ ত তাদের কোনো কাজে আসবে না , আর তাদের সাহায ্ যও করা হবে না ।

then thereafter there shall come a year wherein the people will be succoured and press in season .
''আর তার পরে আসবে এক বছর যাতে লোকেরা পাবে প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত, আর তাতে তারা পিযবে।’’

and we made them leaders calling to the fire , and on the day of resurrection they shall not be succoured .
আমি তাদেরকে নেতা করেছিলাম । তারা জাহান ্ নামের দিকে আহবান করত । কেয়ামতের দিন তারা সাহায ্ য প ্ রাপ ্ ত হবে না ।

and assuredly allah had succoured you at badr while ye were humble . wherefore fear allah that haply ye may return thanks .
আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ইতিপূর ্ বে তোমাদের সাহায ্ য করেছিলেন বদরে যখন তোমরা ছিলে দুর ্ দশাগ ্ রস ্ ত ; অতএব আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র প ্ রতি ভয়-শ ্ রদ ্ ধা করো যেন তোমরা ধন ্ যবাদ দিতে পারো ।

and we succoured him against the people who belied our signs ; verily they were a people evil , so we drowned them all .
আর আমরা তাঁকে সাহায ্ য করেছিলাম সেই লোকদের বিরুদ ্ ধে যারা আমাদের নির ্ দেশাবলী প ্ রত ্ যাখ ্ যান করেছিল । নিঃসন ্ দেহ তারা ছিল দুষ ্ ট লোক , তাই তাদের সবাইকে আমরা ডুবিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম ।

and lean not toward those who do wrong , lest the fire should touch you , and ye have no protectors beside allah nor ye would then be succoured .
আর তোমরা তাদের দিকে ঝুকোঁ না যারা অন ্ যায় করে , পাছে আগুন তোমাদের স ্ পর ্ শ করে । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ কে ছেড়ে দিয়ে তোমাদের জন ্ য কোনো অভিভাবকমন ্ ডলী নেই , সুতরাং তোমাদের সাহায ্ য করা হবে না ।

if only those who disbelieve have known of the time when they shall not be able to ward off from their faces the fire nor from their backs , nor shall they be succoured !
যদি কাফেররা ঐ সময়টি জানত , যখন তারা তাদের সম ্ মুখ ও পৃষ ্ ঠদেশ থেকে অগ ্ নি প ্ রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না এবং তারা সাহায ্ য প ্ রাপ ্ ত হবে না ।

and fear a day whereon not in aught shall a soul satisfy for a soul , nor shall compensation be accepted therefor , nor shall intercession profit it , nor shall they be succoured .
আর হুশিয়াঁর হও এমন এক দিনের যখন এক সত ্ তা অন ্ য আ ‌ ত ্ মা থেকে কোনো প ্ রকার সাহায ্ য পাবে না , আর তার কাছ থেকে কোনো খেসারত কবুল করা হবে না , আর সুপারিশেও তার কোনো ফায়দা হবে না , আর তাদের সাহায ্ য করা হবে না ।

and fear a day when no human being shall avail another . nor shall ransom be accepted from any of them , nor shall intercession be of any use to them , and none shall be succoured .
আর হুশিয়াঁর হও এমন এক দিনের যখন এক সত ্ তা অন ্ য আ ‌ ত ্ মা থেকে কোনো প ্ রকার সাহায ্ য পাবে না , আর তার কাছ থেকে কোনো খেসারত কবুল করা হবে না , আর সুপারিশেও তার কোনো ফায়দা হবে না , আর তাদের সাহায ্ য করা হবে না ।

they will not be able to harm you except for a little hurt , and if they fight against you they will turn their backs ( in flight ) , and then they will not be succoured .
তারা কখনো তোমাদের ক ্ ষতি করতে পারবে না কিঞ ্ চিৎ জ ্ বালাতন ছাড়া , আর যদি তারা তোমাদের সাথে যুদ ্ ধ বাধায় তবে তারা তোমাদের দিকে পিঠ ফেরাবে , তারপর তাদের আর সাহায ্ য করা হবে না ।

and slay not anyone whom allah hath forbidden except for justification ; and whosoever is slain wrongfully , we have surely given his next-of-kin authority so let him not be extravagant in slaying ; verily he is ever succoured .
আর কোনো সত ্ ত ্ বাকে যথাযথ কারণ ব ্ যতীত হত ্ যা করো না যাকে আল ্ লাহ ্ নিষেধ করেছেন । আর যে কেউ অন ্ যায়ভাবে নিহত হয় ইতিমধ ্ যে আমরা তো তার অভিভাবককে অধিকার দিয়েছি , কাজেই হত ্ যার ব ্ যাপারে সে যেন বাড়াবাড়ি না করে । সে নিশ ্ চয়ই সাহায ্ যপ ্ রাপ ্ ত হবে ।
