say thou: what bethink ye of your associate-gods upon which ye call besides allah?
sema: mnawaona hawa miungu wenu wa kishirikina mnao waomba badala ya mwenyezi mungu!

bethink men that they shall be left alone because they say: we believe; and that they shall not be tempted?
wanadhani watu wataachwa kwa kuwa wanasema: tumeamini. nao wasijaribiwe?

say thou: bethink ye of that which allah hath sent down unto you of provision, and ye have then made thereof allowable and forbidden?
sema: je! mwaonaje zile riziki alizo kuteremshieni mwenyezi mungu, nanyi mkafanya katika hizo nyengine haramu na nyengine halali.

say thou: bethink ye: whatsoever ye call upon beside allah- show me whatsoever they have created of the earth?
je! mwawaona wale mnao waomba badala ya mwenyezi mungu?

bethink you: if it is from allah and ye reject it - who is further astray than one who is at open feud (with allah)?
sema: mnaonaje! ikiwa haya yanatoka kwa mwenyezi mungu, nanyi ikawa ndio mmeyakataa, ni nani aliye potea zaidi kuliko aliye katika upinzani wa mbali?

and (bethink you of) the day when we remove the hills and ye see the earth emerging, and we gather them together so as to leave not one of them behind.
na siku tutapo iondoa milima na ukaiona ardhi iwazi, na tukawafufua - wala hatutamwacha hata mmoja kati yao -

and (bethink you of) the day when we raise up of every nation a witness, then there is no leave for disbelievers, nor are they allowed to make amends.
na siku tutakapo wainua kutokana na kila umma shahidi, kisha hawataruhusiwa walio kufuru wala hawataachiliwa kutaka radhi.

bethink you, if i rely on a clear proof from my lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from his presence, and it hath been made obscure to you, can we compel you to accept it when ye are averse thereto?
hebu fikirini! ikiwa mimi ninayo hoja wazi iliyo toka kwa mola wangu mlezi, na amenipa rehema kutoka kwake, nayo ikakufichikieni; je, tukulazimisheni kuikubali hali nyinyi mnaichukia?

bethink you: if i am (acting) on clear proof from my lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from him, who will save me from allah if i disobey him?
mwaonaje ikiwa ninazo dalili zilizo wazi kutokana na mola wangu mlezi, naye akawa kanipa rehema kutoka kwake - je, ni nani atakaye ninusuru kwa mwenyezi mungu nikimuasi?

and (bethink you of) the day when we raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and we bring thee (muhammad) as a witness against these.
na (waonye) siku tutakapo wainua mashahidi katika kila umma wakiwashuhudia kwa yanayo tokana na wao, na tutakuleta wewe uwe shahidi juu ya hao.
