ፊልጶስ። ጌታ ሆይ፥ አብን አሳየንና ይበቃናል አለው።
philip saith unto him, lord, shew us the father, and it sufficeth us.

ፊልጶስ። እያንዳንዳቸው ትንሽ ትንሽ እንኳ እንዲቀበሉ የሁለት መቶ ዲናር እንጀራ አይበቃቸውም ብሎ መለሰለት።
philip answered him, two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

ፊልጶስ ግን በአዛጦን ተገኘ፥ ወደ ቂሣርያም እስኪመጣ ድረስ እየዞረ በከተማዎች ሁሉ ወንጌልን ይሰብክ ነበር።
but philip was found at azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to caesarea.

ፊልጶስ ናትናኤልን አግኝቶ። ሙሴ በሕግ ነቢያትም ስለ እርሱ የጻፉትን የዮሴፍን ልጅ የናዝሬቱን ኢየሱስን አግኝተነዋል አለው።
and nathanael said unto him, can there any good thing come out of nazareth? philip saith unto him, come and see.

እነርሱም ከገሊላ ቤተ ሳይዳ ወደሚሆን ወደ ፊልጶስ መጥተው። ጌታ ሆይ፥ ኢየሱስን ልናይ እንወዳለን ብለው ለመኑት።
the same came therefore to philip, which was of bethsaida of galilee, and desired him, saying, sir, we would see jesus.

ናትናኤልም። ከናዝሬት መልካም ነገር ሊወጣ ይችላልን? አለው። ፊልጶስ። መጥተህ እይ አለው።
jesus saw nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, behold an israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

ናትናኤልም። ከወዴት ታውቀኛለህ? አለው። ኢየሱስም መልሶ። ፊልጶስ ሳይጠራህ፥ ከበለስ በታች ሳለህ፥ አየሁህ አለው።
nathanael answered and saith unto him, rabbi, thou art the son of god; thou art the king of israel.
