«Դո՛ւրս եկէք այդ տապանից դու, քո կինը, քո որդիները եւ քո որդիների կանայք,
go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

Եւ նրա յետեւից գնում էր ժողովրդի մի մեծ բազմութիւն եւ կանայք, որոնք կոծում էին ու ողբում նրան:
and there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

Ապա մեզնից ոմանք էլ գերեզման գնացին եւ գտան այնպէս, ինչպէս կանայք ասել էին: Բայց նրան չտեսան:
and certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

Այդ օրը Նոյի հետ տապան մտան Սէմը, Քամը, Յաբէթը՝ Նոյի որդիները, Նոյի կինը եւ նրա որդիների երեք կանայք:
in the selfsame day entered noah, and shem, and ham, and japheth, the sons of noah, and noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

Կային եւ կանայք, որոնք դիտում էին հեռուից: Նրանց մէջ էին Մարիամ Մագդաղենացին, Կրտսեր Յակոբոսի եւ Յովսէի մայրը՝ Մարիամը, ինչպէս եւ Սաղոմէն,
there were also women looking on afar off: among whom was mary magdalene, and mary the mother of james the less and of joses, and salome;

Եթէ վշտացնես իմ դուստրերին, եթէ իմ դուստրերի կենդանութեան օրօք կանայք առնես, զգո՛յշ եղիր, քանի որ մարդ չկայ, որ այդ բանը տեսնի, բայց Աստուա՛ծ վկայ կը լինի իմ ու քո միջեւ»:
if thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no man is with us; see, god is witness betwixt me and thee.
