" enter then among my votaries ,
« በባሮቼም ውስጥ ግቢ ፡ ፡

they said : we worship idols , so we shall be their votaries .
« ጣዖታትን እንገዛለን ፤ እርሷንም በመገዛት ላይ እንቆያለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

our word had already been given before to our votaries , the apostles , --
( የእርዳታ ) ቃላችንም መልክተኞች ለሆኑት ባሮቻችን በእውነት አልፋለች ፡ ፡

from a spring of which the votaries of god will drink and make it flow in abundance .
ከእርሷ የአላህ ባሮች የሚጠጡላት ( ወደፈለጉበት ) ማንቧቧትን የሚያንቧቧት ከኾነች ምንጭ ( ይጠጣሉ ) ፡ ፡

then they found one of our votaries , whom we had blessed and given knowledge from us .
ከባሮቻችንም ከእኛ ዘንድ ችሮታን የሰጠነውን ከእኛም ዘንድ ዕውቀትን ያስተማርነውን አንድን ባሪያ ( ኸድርን ) አገኙ ፡ ፡

they said : we shall by no means cease to be its votaries till moses return unto us .
« ሙሳ ወደእኛ እስከሚመለስ በእርሱ ( መገዛት ) ላይ ከመቆየት ፈጽሞ አንወገድም » አሉ ፡ ፡

too exalted is he ! in fact , those ( they call his sons ) were his honoured votaries .
« አልረሕማንም ( ከመላእክት ) ልጅን ያዘ » አሉ ፡ ፡ ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡ አይደለም ( መላእክት ) የተከበሩ ባሮች ናቸው ፡ ፡

when all human beings will be gathered together those who had been called upon will become the enemies to their votaries and will disown their worship .
ሰዎችም በተሰበሰቡ ጊዜ ( ጣዖቶቹ ) ለእነርሱ ጠላቶች ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡ ( እነሱን ) መገዛታቸውንም ከሓዲዎች ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡

it is only the evil one that suggests to you the fear of his votaries : be ye not afraid of them , but fear me , if ye have faith .
እንዲህ የሚላችሁ ሰይጣን ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ወዳጆቹን ያስፈራራችኋል ፡ ፡ አትፍሩዋቸውም ፡ ፡ ምእምናንም እንደኾናችሁ ፍሩኝ ፡ ፡

they bartered their lives ill denying the revelation of god out of spite that god should bestow his grace among his votaries on whomsoever he will , and thus earned wrath upon wrath . the punishment for disbelievers is ignominious .
ነፍሶቻቸውን በርሱ የሸጡበት ነገር ከፋ ! ( እርሱም ) አላህ ከባሮቹ በሚሻው ሰው ላይ ከችሮታው ( ራእይን ) ማውረዱን በመመቅኘት አላህ ባወረደው ነገር መካዳቸው ነው ፡ ፡ በቁጣ ላይም ቁጣ ( የተረጋገጠባቸው ሲኾኑ ) ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎችም አዋራጅ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

know they not that allah doth accept repentance from his votaries and receives their gifts of charity , and that allah is verily he , the oft-returning , most merciful ?
አላህ እርሱ ከባሮቹ ንስሓን የሚቀበል ምጽዋቶችንም የሚወስድ መኾኑን አላህም እርሱ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ መኾኑን አያውቁም

( o prophet ) , you did not recite any book before , nor did you write it down with your hand ; for then the votaries of falsehood would have had a cause for doubt .
ከእርሱ በፊትም መጽሐፍን የምታነብ በቀኝህም የምትጽፈው አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ አጥፊዎቹ በእርግጥ በተጠራጠሩ ነበር ፡ ፡

( moses ) said : then go ! and lo ! in this life it is for thee to say : touch me not ! and lo ! there is for thee a tryst thou canst not break . now look upon thy god of which thou hast remained a votary .
አለው « ኺድ ፤ ላንተም በሕይወትህ ( ለአየኸው ሰው ሁሉ ) መነካካት የለም ማለት አለህ ፡ ፡ ለአንተም ፈጽሞ የማትጣሰው ቀጠሮ አለህ ፡ ፡ ወደዚያም በእርሱ ላይ ተገዢው ኾነህ ወደ ቆየህበት አምላክህ ተመልከት ፡ ፡ በእርግጥ እናቃጥለዋለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በባሕሩ ውስጥ መበተንን እንበትነዋለን ፡ ፡ »
