तो क्या ये लोग ख़ुदा की तद्बीर से ढीट हो गए हैं तो ख़ुदा के दॉव से घाटा उठाने वाले ही निडर हो बैठे हैं

हमने तुम लोगों में मौत को मुक़र्रर कर दिया है और हम उससे आजिज़ नहीं हैं

o dear prophet ! why do you forbid for yourself the things that allah has made lawful for you ? you wish to please some of your wives ; and allah is oft forgiving , most merciful .
ऐ रसूल जो चीज़ ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारे लिए हलाल की है तुम उससे अपनी बीवियों की ख़ुशनूदी के लिए क्यों किनारा कशी करो और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

say : ' have you considered the provision that allah has sent down for you , and some you have made unlawful and some lawful ' say : ' has allah given you his permission , or do you forge against allah '
और जो कुछ वह जमा कर रहे हैं उससे कहीं बेहतर है तुम कह दो कि तुम्हारा क्या ख्याल है कि ख़ुदा ने तुम पर रोज़ी नाज़िल की तो अब उसमें से बाज़ को हराम बाज़ को हलाल बनाने लगे तुम कह दो कि क्या ख़ुदा ने तुम्हें इजाज़त दी है या तुम ख़ुदा पर बोहतान बाँधते हो

have you not regarded that allah has disposed for you whatever there is in the earth , and the ships sail at sea by his command , and he sustains the sky lest it should fall on the earth , excepting by his leave ? indeed allah is most kind and merciful to mankind .
क्या तूने उस पर भी नज़र न डाली कि जो कुछ रूए ज़मीन में है सबको खुदा ही ने तुम्हारे क़ाबू में कर दिया है और कश्ती को जो उसके हुक्म से दरिया में चलती है और वही तो आसमान को रोके हुए है कि ज़मीन पर न गिर पड़े मगर उसका हुक्म होगा इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा लोगों पर बड़ा मेहरबान व रहमवाला है

do you not see that allah has disposed for you whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth and he has showered upon you his blessings , the outward , and the inward ? yet among the people are those who dispute concerning allah without any knowledge or guidance or an illuminating scripture .
क्या तुम लोगों ने इस पर ग़ौर नहीं किया कि जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है ख़ुदा ही ने यक़ीनी तुम्हारा ताबेए कर दिया है और तुम पर अपनी ज़ाहिरी और बातिनी नेअमतें पूरी कर दीं और बाज़ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो ख़ुदा के बारे में झगड़ते हैं न इल्म है और न हिदायत है और न कोई रौशन किताब है

did you not see that allah has made all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth , subservient for you and bestowed his favours upon you in full , both visible and hidden ? and some men argue regarding allah , with neither knowledge , nor guidance , nor a clear book !
क्या तुम लोगों ने इस पर ग़ौर नहीं किया कि जो कुछ आसमानों में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है ख़ुदा ही ने यक़ीनी तुम्हारा ताबेए कर दिया है और तुम पर अपनी ज़ाहिरी और बातिनी नेअमतें पूरी कर दीं और बाज़ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो ख़ुदा के बारे में झगड़ते हैं न इल्म है और न हिदायत है और न कोई रौशन किताब है

और जो शख्स अपनी औलाद को पूरी मुद्दत तक दूध पिलवाना चाहे तो उसकी ख़ातिर से माएँ अपनी औलाद को पूरे दो बरस दूध पिलाएँ और जिसका वह लड़का है उस पर माओं का खाना कपड़ा दस्तूर के मुताबिक़ लाज़िम है किसी शख्स को ज़हमत नहीं दी जाती मगर उसकी गुन्जाइश भर न माँ का उस के बच्चे की वजह से नुक़सान गवारा किया जाए और न जिस का लड़का है उसका और अगर बाप न हो तो दूध पिलाने का हक़ उसी तरह वारिस पर लाज़िम है फिर अगर दो बरस के क़ब्ल माँ बाप दोनों अपनी मरज़ी और मशवरे से दूध बढ़ाई करना चाहें तो उन दोनों पर कोई गुनाह नहीं और अगर तुम अपनी औलाद को दूध पिलवाना चाहो तो उस में भी तुम पर कुछ गुनाह नहीं है बशर्ते कि जो तुमने दस्तूर के मुताबिक़ मुक़र्रर किया है उन के हवाले कर दो और ख़ुदा से डरते रहो और जान रखो कि जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा ज़रुर देखता है
