Ва агар бихоҳем,, онҳоро бар ҷояшон масх (тағйир) кунем, ки на тавони он дошта бошанд, ки ба пеш қадам бардоранд ва на бозпас гарданд.

and had we wished we would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.

and had we sent down an angel, the matter would have certainly been decided and then they would not have been respited.
