then by the lord of the heaven and earth , indeed , it is truth - just as [ sure as ] it is that you are speaking .
በሰማይና በምድር ጌታም እምላለሁ ፡ ፡ እርሱ እናንተ እንደምትናገሩት ብጤ እርግጠኛ ነው ፡ ፡

pilate said unto them, ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
ጲላጦስም። ጠባቆች አሉአችሁ፤ ሄዳችሁ እንዳወቃችሁ አስጠብቁ አላቸው።

then ( as the sun climbs up ) , we roll it up little by little towards ourselves .
ከዚያም ቀስ በቀስ ወደእኛ ሰብሰብነው ፡ ፡

he has also subjected to you the sun and the moon , both steadfastly pursuing their courses . he has subjected to you the night as well as the day ;
ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ዘወትር ኼያጆች ሲኾኑ ለእናንተ የገራ ሌሊትንና ቀንንም ለእናንተ የገራላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡

as if they had never lived there ; away with the madyan , just as the thamud were removed afar !
በእርሷ ውስጥ እንዳልነበሩ ሆኑ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! ሰሙድ ( ከአላህ እዝነት ) እንደ ራቀች መድየንም ትራቅ ፡ ፡

then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
በዚያን ጊዜ ጻድቃን በአባታቸው መንግሥት እንደ ፀሐይ ይበራሉ። የሚሰማ ጆሮ ያለው ይስማ።

and he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
በቀኝ እጁም ሰባት ከዋክብት ነበሩት፥ ከአፉም በሁለት ወገን የተሳለ ስለታም ሰይፍ ወጣ፤ ፊቱም በኃይል እንደሚበራ እንደ ፀሐይ ነበረ።

just as the blind and the seeing are not equal , so are the righteously striving believers and the sinners are not equal . how little to this you pay attention .
ዕውርና የሚያይ እነዚያም አምነው መልካሞችን የሠሩና መጥፎ ሠሪው አይስተካከሉም ፡ ፡ በጣም ጥቂትን ብቻ ትገሰጻላችሁ ፡ ፡

believers , do not establish friendship with the people who have become subject to the wrath of god . they do not have any hope in the life to come , just as the disbelievers have no hope in those who are in their graves .
እላንተ ያመናቸሁ ሆይ ! አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ የተቆጣባቸውን ሕዝቦች አትወዳጁ ፡ ፡ ከሓዲዎች ከመቃብር ሰዎች ተስፋ እንደቆረጡ ከመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ( ምንዳ ) በእርግጥ ተስፋ ቆርጠዋል ፡ ፡

do you not see that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth , as well as the sun and the moon , and the stars and the mountains , and the trees and the beasts and many human beings -- all submit to god ? but there are many who have become deserving of punishment .
አላህ በሰማያት ያለው ሁሉ ፣ በምድርም ያለው ሁሉ ፣ ፀሐይና ጨረቃም ፣ ከዋክብትም ፣ ተራራዎችም ፣ ዛፎችም ፣ ተንቀሳቃሾችም ከሰዎች ብዙዎችም ፣ ለርሱ የሚሰግዱለት መሆኑን አታውቁምን ብዙውም በርሱ ላይ ቅጣት ተረጋገጠበት ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚያዋርደውም ሰው ለእርሱ ምንም አክባሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ አላህ የሻውን ይሠራልና ፡ ፡

they replied : ' we have not failed in our promise to you through our choosing . we were laden with fardels , even the ornaments of the nation , and threw them just as the samaritan had thrown them ( into the fire ) ,
« ቀጠሮህን በፈቃዳችን አልጣስንም ፡ ፡ ግን እኛ ከሕዝቦቹ ጌጥ ሸክሞችን ተጫን ( በእሳት ላይ ) ጣልናትም ፡ ፡ ሳምራዊውም እንደዚሁ ጣለ » አሉት ፡ ፡

but they say , " [ the revelation is but ] a mixture of false dreams ; rather , he has invented it ; rather , he is a poet . so let him bring us a sign just as the previous [ messengers ] were sent [ with miracles ] . "
« በእውነቱ ( ቁርኣኑ ) የሕልሞች ቅዠቶች ነው ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም ቀጠፈው እንዲያውም እርሱ ቅኔን ገጣሚ ነው ፡ ፡ የቀድሞዎቹም እንደተላኩ ( መልክተኛ ከኾነ ) በተዓምር ይምጣብን » አሉ ፡ ፡
