እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ነፍሲቱን ወደ አካሉ ) ለምን አትመልሷትም ፡ ፡

and there came not to them a prophet but they mocked at him .
ከነቢይም አንድም የሚመጣላቸው አልነበረም በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩ ቢኾኑ እንጅ ፡ ፡

god counsels you not to do a thing like this , if you are believers .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

and this ceased not to be their cry till we made them cut off , extinct .
የታጨዱ ሬሳዎችም እስካደረግናቸው ድረስ ይህቺ ጠሪያቸው ከመኾን አልተወገደችም ፡ ፡

በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በእነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

children of adam , did we not command you not to worship satan . he was your sworn enemy .
የአደም ልጆች ሆይ ! ሰይጣንን አትገዙ ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና በማለት ወደእናንተ አላዘዝኩምን ?

if we willed , we verily could make it chaff , then would ye cease not to exclaim :
ብነሻ ኖሮ ደረቅ ስብርብር ባደረግነውና የምትደነቁም በኾናችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡

did i not enjoin you , sons of adam , not to worship satan -- for he is your sworn enemy ,
የአደም ልጆች ሆይ ! ሰይጣንን አትገዙ ፤ እርሱ ለእናንተ ግልጽ ጠላት ነውና በማለት ወደእናንተ አላዘዝኩምን ?

" there is therein ( enough provision ) for thee not to go hungry nor to go naked ,
ለአንተ በእርሷ ውስጥ አለመራብና አለመታረዝ አለህ ፡ ፡
