« እኔም ያንን የተገዛችሁትን ( ወደፊት ) ተገዢ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

he said , ‘ have you regarded what you have been worshipping ,
« ትግገዙት የነበራችሁትን አስተዋላችሁን

and how will you endure what you have no knowledge of ? ”
« በዕውቀትም በእርሱ ባላዳረስከው ነገር ላይ እንዴት ትታገሳለህ »

preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans .
የታዘዝክበትንም ነገር በይፋ ግለጽ ፡ ፡ አጋሪዎችንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

so proclaim what you have been commanded , and turn away from the polytheists .
የታዘዝክበትንም ነገር በይፋ ግለጽ ፡ ፡ አጋሪዎችንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

' taste your trial . this is what you have sought to hasten '
« መከራችሁን ቅመሱ ፤ ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትቻኮሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

abraham said , " have you really thought about what you have been worshipping ,
« ትግገዙት የነበራችሁትን አስተዋላችሁን

that you have surely therein what you choose ?
በውስጡ ለእናንተ የምትመርጡት አላችሁ ( የሚል )

moses said to him : ' may i follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness '
ሙሳ ለእርሱ « ከተማርከው ነገር ቀጥተኛን ( ዕውቀት ) ታስተምረኝ ዘንድ ልከተልህን » አለው ፡ ፡

surely what you have been promised shall come to pass ; and you do not have the power to frustrate ( allah ) .
የምትቀጠሩት ሁሉ በእርግጥ መጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም አምላጮች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

do on your part what you can , o people , i will do what i will . you will come to know who suffers the punishment that would put him to shame , and who is the liar .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ልክ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ የሚያዋርደው ቅጣት የሚመጣበትና እርሱ ውሸታም የሆነው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ ጠብቁም እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ተጠባባቂ ነኝና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

no , we hurl truth at falsehood , and it shall conquer it , and see , falsehood vanishes . woe to you for all you have described .
በእርግጥ እውነትን በውሸት ላይ እንጥላለን ፡ ፡ አንጎሉን ያፈርሰዋልም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሱ ጠፊ ነው ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ከዚያ ( ሚስትና ልጅ አለው በማለት ) ከምትመጥኑት ነገር ብርቱ ቅጣት አላችሁ ፤ ( ወዮላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

and do not occupy yourself with what you have no knowledge of . the hearing , and the sight , and the brains all these — will be questioned .
ለአንተም በርሱ ዕውቀት የሌለህን ነገር አትከተል ፡ ፡ መስሚያ ፣ ማያም ፣ ልብም እነዚህ ሁሉ ( ባለቤታቸው ) ከእነሱ ተጠያቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

and the stupor of death will come in truth : " this is what you have been avoiding ! "
የሞትም መከራ እውነቱን ነገር ታመጣለች ፡ ፡ ( ሰው ሆይ ) ፡ - « ይህ ያ ከርሱ ትሸሸው የነበርከው ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

and how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge ? "
« በዕውቀትም በእርሱ ባላዳረስከው ነገር ላይ እንዴት ትታገሳለህ »

( they will be told ) , " eat and drink in good health as a reward for what you have done " .
« ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ዋጋ የምትደሰቱ ኾናችሁ ብሉ ፣ ጠጡም ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
