« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉ የነበራችሁት መለያው ቀን ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

this is the day of separation , which ye used to deny .
« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉ የነበራችሁት መለያው ቀን ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and lift from you your burden .
ሸክምህንም ካንተ አውርደንልሃል ፡ ፡

and removed from you your burden ,
ሸክምህንም ካንተ አውርደንልሃል ፡ ፡

and taken off from you your burden ,
ሸክምህንም ካንተ አውርደንልሃል ፡ ፡

and the dying one is certain that it is the [ time of ] separation
( ሕመምተኛው ) እርሱ ( የሰፈረበት ነገር ከዚህ ዓለም ) መልለየት መኾኑን ባረጋገጠም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

they have said , " such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss " .
« ይህቺ ያን ጊዜ ባለ ከሳራ መመለስ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

they say : “ that will then be a return with a great loss ! ”
« ይህቺ ያን ጊዜ ባለ ከሳራ መመለስ ናት » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

who pray , " lord , protect us from the torment of hell ; it is a great loss .
እነዚያም « ጌታችን ሆይ ! የገሀነምን ቅጣት ከእኛ ላይ መልስልን ቅጣቷ የማይለቅ ነውና » የሚሉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

she said , “ i seek the refuge of the most gracious from you – if you fear god . ”
« እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ሆንክ ( አትቅረበኝ ) » አለች ፡ ፡

' we feed you only for the face of god ; we desire no recompense from you , no thankfulness ;
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

believers , do not let your wealth and children divert you from remembering god . wwhoever is diverted will suffer a great loss .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁ አላህን ከማስታወስ አያታሉዋችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህንንም የሚሠሩ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ከሳሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but when he lifts the harm from you , some of you associate others with their lord .
ከዚያም ከእናንተ ላይ ችግርን ባነሳላችሁ ጊዜ ከእናንተው የኾኑ ጭፍሮች ወዲያውኑ በጌታቸው ( ጣዖትን ) ያጋራሉ ፡ ፡

i ask no payment from you for my preaching . the lord of the universe will give me my reward .
« በእርሱም ላይ ምንም ዋጋ አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ዋጋዬ በዓለማት ጌታ ላይ እንጅ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡

" i seek refuge in the merciful from you , if you fear him , " she said .
« እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ሆንክ ( አትቅረበኝ ) » አለች ፡ ፡

( saying ) : we feed you , for the sake of allah only . we wish for no reward nor thanks from you ;
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

she said , “ i take refuge from you in the most merciful , should you be righteous . ”
« እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ሆንክ ( አትቅረበኝ ) » አለች ፡ ፡

( saying ) , " we feed you for the sake of allah alone : no reward do we desire from you , nor thanks .
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

and we will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits ; and give good news to the patient ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

and surely we shall try you with something of fear and hunger , and loss of wealth and lives and crops ; but give glad tidings to the steadfast ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡
