በእርግጥ ቀላልን ምርመራ ይመረመራል ፡ ፡

to your lord on that day is the settlement .
በዚያ ቀን መርጊያው ወደ ጌታህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

እርሷ መርጊያና መቀመጫ በመኾን ከፋች ! ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

abiding eternally therein . good is the settlement and residence .
በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ኾነው ( ይስሰጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ መርጊያና መኖሪያይቱ አማረች ፡ ፡

hell , wherein they shall roast . how ill is the settlement !
( አገሪቱም ) የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም መርጊያ !

the believers are but brothers , so make settlement between your brothers . and fear allah that you may receive mercy .
ምእመናኖች ወንድማመቾች ናቸው ፡ ፡ በሁለት ወንድሞቻችሁም መካከል አስታርቁ ፡ ፡ ይታዘንላችሁም ዘንድ አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

and they denied and followed their inclinations . but for every matter is a [ time of ] settlement .
አስተባበሉም ፡ ፡ ዝንባሌዎቻቸውንም ተከተሉ ፡ ፡ ነገርም ሁሉ ( ወሰን አለው ) ፤ ረጊ ነው ፡ ፡

[ it is ] hell , which they will [ enter to ] burn , and wretched is the settlement .
( አገሪቱም ) የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም መርጊያ !

he who fears injustice or sin on the part of a testator and brings about a settlement among the parties incurs no guilt . allah is the forgiver and the most merciful .
ከተናዛዢም በኩል ( ከውነት ) መዘንበልን ወይም ( ከሢሶ በመጨመር ) ኃጢኣትን ያወቀና በመካከላቸው ያስታረቀ ሰው በእርሱ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለበትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በጣም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

he who suspects wrong or partiality on the part of the testator and brings about a settlement , does not incure any guilt , for god is verily forgiving and merciful .
ከተናዛዢም በኩል ( ከውነት ) መዘንበልን ወይም ( ከሢሶ በመጨመር ) ኃጢኣትን ያወቀና በመካከላቸው ያስታረቀ ሰው በእርሱ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለበትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በጣም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

but if anyone apprehends partiality or an injustice on the part of a testator , it shall be no sin for him to bring about a settlement between the parties . god is forgiving and merciful .

and if two factions among the believers should fight , then make settlement between the two . but if one of them oppresses the other , then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of allah .
ከምዕምናንም የኾኑ ሁለት ጭፍሮች ቢጋደሉ በመካከላቸው አስታርቁ ፡ ፡ ከሁለቱ አንደኛይቱም በሌላይቱ ላይ ወሰን ብታልፍ ያችን ወሰን የምታልፈውን ወደ አላህ ትዕዛዝ እስከምትመለስ ድረስ ተጋደሉ ፡ ፡ ብትመለስም በመካከላቸው በትክክል አስታርቁ ፡ ፡ በነገሩ ሁሉ አስተካክሉም ፡ ፡ አላህ አስተካካዮችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

and we settled the children of israel in a sure settlement , and we provided them with good things ; so they differed not until the knowledge came to them . surely thy lord will decide between them on the day of resurrection touching their differences .
የእስራኤልንም ልጆች ምስጉንን ስፍራ በእርግጥ አሰፈርናቸው ፡ ፡ ከመልካም ሲሳዮችም ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡ ዕውቀትም ( ቁርኣን ) እስከመጣቸው ድረስ አልተለያዩም ፡ ፡ ጌታህ በርሱ ይለያዩበት በነበሩት ነገር በትንሣኤ ቀን በመካከላቸው ይፈርዳል ፡ ፡

do not be weak hearted and do not appeal for an ( unjust ) settlement ; you have the upper hand . god is with you and he will never reduce the reward for your deeds .
እናንተም አሸናፊዎቹ ስትኾኑ አላህ ከእናንተ ጋር ሲሆን አትድከሙ ፡ ፡ ወደ ዕርቅም አትጥሩ ፡ ፡ ሥራዎቻችሁንም ፈጽሞ አያጎድልባችሁም ፡ ፡

allah's statement, وَأُحْضِرَتِ الأنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ( and human souls are swayed by greed. ) means, coming to peaceful terms, even when it involves forfeiting some rights, is better than parting. abu dawud at-tayalisi recorded that ibn `abbas said, "sawdah feared that the messenger of allah ﷺ might divorce her and she said, `o messenger of allah! do not divorce me; give my day to `a'ishah.' and he did, and later on allah sent down, وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ ( and if a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no sin on them both ) ibn `abbas said, "whatever ( legal agreement ) the spouses mutually agree to is allowed.". at-tirmidhi recorded it and said, "hasan gharib". in the two sahihs, it is recorded that `a'ishah said that when sawdah bint zam`ah became old, she forfeited her day to `a'ishah, and the prophet used to spend sawdah's night with `a'ishah. there is a similar narration also collected by al-bukhari. al-bukhari also recorded that `a'ishah commented; وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً ( and if a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part ), that it refers to, "a man who is married to an old woman, and he does not desire her and wants to divorce her. so she says, `i forfeit my right on you.' so this ayah was revealed." meaning of "making peace is better allah said, وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ ( and making peace is better ). `ali bin abi talhah related that ibn `abbas said that the ayah refers to, "when the husband gives his wife the choice between staying with him or leaving him, as this is better than the husband preferring other wives to her." however, the apparent wording of the ayah refers to the settlement where the wife forfeits some of the rights she has over her husband, with the husband agreeing to this concession, and that this settlement is better than divorce. for instance, the prophet kept sawdah bint zam`ah as his wife after she offered to forfeit her day for `a'ishah. by keeping her among his wives, his ummah may follow this kind of settlement
የሶዳውን ሌሊት ከ'አኢሻ ጋር ለማሳለፍ የለመድኩትን ቀን ይስጥልኝ። ተመሳሳይ ትረካም ይሰበስባል
