እናንተም የምትገዟቸውም ሁሉ ፤

so you are after him !
አንተ ለእርሱ ( ለእምነቱ በመጓጓት ) በፈገግታ ትቀበለዋለህ ፡ ፡

so you ignore them for a time
ከእነርሱም ( ከመካ ከሓዲዎች ) እስከ ጥቂት ጊዜ ድረስ ዙር ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡

so you wait . they are also waiting .
ተጠባበቅም እነርሱ ተጠባባቂዎች ናቸውና ፡ ፡

so you have to work late every night
ስለዚህ ሁልጊዜ ማታ ማታ መሥራት አለብህ

so you will soon see , and they too will see ,
ወደፊትም ታያለህ ፤ ያያሉም ፡ ፡

so you leave him , and are engrossed elsewhere !
አንተ ከእርሱ ትዝዘናጋለህ ፡ ፡

we will make you recite so you shall not forget ,
( ቁርኣንን ) በእርግጥ እናስነብብሃለን ፤ አትረሳምም ፡ ፡

so you shall see , and they ( too ) shall see ,
ወደፊትም ታያለህ ፤ ያያሉም ፡ ፡

" so you will drink ( that ) like thirsty camels ! "
« የተጠሙንም ግመሎች አጠጣጥ ብጤ ጠጪዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ »

so you place your trust in god . certainly you stand on positive truth .
በአላህም ላይ ተጠጋ ፡ ፡ አንተ ግልጽ በኾነው እውነት ላይ ነህና ፡ ፡

if we will we can make it like dry trampled hay , so you would keep crying out .
ብነሻ ኖሮ ደረቅ ስብርብር ባደረግነውና የምትደነቁም በኾናችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡

the day on which the trumpet shall be blown so you shall come forth in hosts ,
በቀንዱ በሚነፋና የተለያዩ ጭፍሮች ኾናችሁ በምትመጡ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡

this is in fact a commandment from your lord ; so you should not have any doubt concerning this .
( ይህ ) ከጌታህ የኾነ እውነት ነው ፤ ከተጠራጣሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

and let me guide you to your lord so you would fear [ him ] ? ' "
« ወደ ጌታህም ልመራህ ትፈራውም ዘንድ ፤ ( መንገድ አለህን ? ) » አለው ፡ ፡

it is that thought of yours about your lord that led you to ruin — so you became of the losers .
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and when the koran is recited , give you ear to it and be silent ; haply so you will find mercy .
ቁርኣንም በተነበበ ጊዜ እርሱን አዳምጡ ፡ ፡ ጸጥም በሉ ፡ ፡ ይታዘንላችኋልና ፡ ፡

and this is the assumption you had regarding your lord , which has ruined you , so you are now among those who have been defeated .
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

o messenger , deliver whatever has been sent down to you by your lord . if you do not do so , you will not have conveyed his message .
አንተ መልክተኛ ሆይ ! ከጌታህ ወዳንተ የተወረደውን አድርስ ፡ ፡ ባትሠራም መልክቱን አላደረስክም ፡ ፡ አላህም ከሰዎች ይጠብቅሃል ፡ ፡ አላህ ከሓዲዎችን ሕዝቦች አያቀናምና ፡ ፡

o believers , whensoever you encounter a host , then stand firm , and remember god frequently ; haply so you will prosper .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ሰራዊትን በገጠማችሁ ጊዜ እርጉ ፤ ( መክቱ ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም በብዙ አውሱ ፤ በእርግጥ ትድናላችሁና ፡ ፡
