እነዚያንም ከእነሱ በፊት የነበሩትን በእርግጥ ፈትነናል ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም እውነት የተናገሩትን አላህ በእርግጥ ያውቃል ፡ ፡ ውሸታሞቹንም ያውቃል ፡ ፡

( አላህ ) « እኛም ከአንተ በኋላ ሰዎችህን በእርግጥ ፈትተን ፡ ፡ ሳምራዊውም አሳሳታቸው » አለው ፡ ፡

and they brought his shirt with false blood on it . he said , ' no ; but your spirits tempted you to do somewhat .
በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

jacob said , " your souls have tempted you in this matter . let us be patient and beg assistance from god if what you say is true . "
በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

' no ' he ( jacob ) said , ' your souls have tempted you to do something . but come sweet patience .
( ያዕቆብ ) « አይደለም ነፍሶቻችሁ አንዳች ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ሠራችሁትም ) ፡ ፡ መልካምም ትእግስት ( ማድረግ ) አለብኝ ፡ ፡ እነርሱን ( ሦስቱንም ) የተሰበሰቡ ሆነው አላህ ሊያመጣልኝ ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ እነሆ እርሱ ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነውና » አላቸው ፡ ፡

brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ሰው በማናቸውም በደል ስንኳ ቢገኝ፥ መንፈሳውያን የሆናችሁ እናንተ እንደዚህ ያለውን ሰው በየውሃት መንፈስ አቅኑት፤ አንተ ደግሞ እንዳትፈተን ራስህን ጠብቅ።

" your souls have tempted you to do something evil ! but it is best to be patient : god alone can help me bear the loss you speak of . "

( o muhammad ) , they had all but tempted you away from what we have revealed to you that you may invent something else in our name . had you done so , they would have taken you as their trusted friend .
