ተስፋ እንዳትቆርጥ ተስፋ እንዳትቆርጪ

believers , why do you say what you never do ?
እላንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! የማትሠሩትን ነገር ለምን ትናገራላችሁ ?

go you and enquire about yusuf ( joseph ) and his brother , and never give up hope of allah 's mercy . certainly no one despairs of allah 's mercy , except the people who disbelieve . "
« ልጆቼ ሆይ ! ሊዱ ፤ ከዩሱፍና ከወንድሙም ( ወሬ ) ተመራመሩ ፡ ፡ ከአላህም እዝነት ተስፋ አትቁረጡ ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከአላህ እዝነት ከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች እንጂ ተስፋ አይቆርጥም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

does your prayer enjoin upon you that we should forsake the deities whom our forefathers worshipped , or that we should give up using our wealth as we please ? do you fancy that you , and only you , are forbearing and right-directed ? '
« ሹዐይብ ሆይ ! ስግደትህ አባቶቻችን የሚገዙትን ጣዖታት እንድንተው ወይም በገንዘቦቻችን የምንሻውን መሥራትን ( እንድንተው ) ታዝሃለችን አንተ በእርግጥ ታጋሹ ቅኑ አንተ ነህና » አሉት ፡ ፡

" o my sons ! go ye and enquire about joseph and his brother , and never give up hope of allah 's soothing mercy : truly no one despairs of allah 's soothing mercy , except those who have no faith . "
« ልጆቼ ሆይ ! ሊዱ ፤ ከዩሱፍና ከወንድሙም ( ወሬ ) ተመራመሩ ፡ ፡ ከአላህም እዝነት ተስፋ አትቁረጡ ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከአላህ እዝነት ከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች እንጂ ተስፋ አይቆርጥም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

( respite will be granted ) until , when the messengers give up hope ( of their people ) and ( come to ) think that they were treated as liars , there reaches them our help , and those whom we will are delivered into safety . but never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin .
መልክተኞቹም ተስፋ በቆረጡና እነርሱ በእርግጥ የተዋሹ መኾናቸውን በተጠራጠሩ ጊዜ እርዳታችን መጣላቸው ፡ ፡ ( እኛ ) የምንሻውም ሰው እንዲድን ተደረገ ፡ ፡ ቅጣታችንም ከአጋሪዎቹ ሕዝቦች ላይ አይመለስም ፡ ፡
