and do not grieve upon them , nor be distressed because of their scheming .
আর তাদের কারণে তুমি দুঃখ করো না , আর তারা যা ষড়যন ্ ত ্ র করছে সেজন ্ য তুমি মনঃক ্ ষুন ্ ন হয়ো না ।

they said , “ we have given you true tidings , therefore do not lose hope . ”
তারা বললঃ আমরা আপনাকে সত ্ য সু-সংবাদ দিচ ্ ছি ! অতএব আপনি নিরাশ হবেন না ।

( o prophet ) , do not grieve over them , nor be distressed at their designs .
আর তাদের কারণে তুমি দুঃখ করো না , আর তারা যা ষড়যন ্ ত ্ র করছে সেজন ্ য তুমি মনঃক ্ ষুন ্ ন হয়ো না ।

believers ! do not be unfaithful to allah and the messenger , nor be knowingly unfaithful to your trusts .
ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ ! আল ্ লাহ ্ ও রসূলের প ্ রতি বিশ ্ বাসভঙ ্ গ করো না , আর না তোমাদের আমানত খিয়ানত করবে , -- তাও তোমরা জেনে-শুনে ।

and do not walk haughtily on the earth ; you can never split the earth , nor be as high as the hills .
আর দুনিয়াতে গর ্ বভরে চলাফেরা করো না , নিঃসন ্ দেহ তুমি তো কখনো পৃথিবীটাকে এফোঁড়-ওফোঁড় করতে পারবে না আর উচ ্ চতায় পাহাড়ের নাগালও পেতে পারবে না ।

and be patient ; yet is thy patience only with the help of god . and do not sorrow for them , nor be thou straitened for what they devise .
আপনি সবর করবেন । আপনার সবর আল ্ লাহর জন ্ য ব ্ যতীত নয় , তাদের জন ্ যে দুঃখ করবেন না এবং তাদের চক ্ রান ্ তের কারণে মন ছোট করবেন না ।

so do not become weak ( against your enemy ) , nor be sad , and you will be superior ( in victory ) if you are indeed ( true ) believers .
অতএব দুর ্ বলচিত ্ ত হয়ো না ও অনুশোচনা করো না , কারণ তোমরাই হবে উচ ্ চপদস ্ থ যদি তোমরা বিশ ্ বাসী হও ।

so be steadfast , and you cannot be steadfast except with allah [ s ’ help ] . and do not grieve for them , nor be upset by their guile .
আপনি সবর করবেন । আপনার সবর আল ্ লাহর জন ্ য ব ্ যতীত নয় , তাদের জন ্ যে দুঃখ করবেন না এবং তাদের চক ্ রান ্ তের কারণে মন ছোট করবেন না ।

so do not lose heart or appeal for peace when you have gained the upper hand . god is with you and will never let your works go to waste .
অতএব , তোমরা হীনবল হয়ো না এবং সন ্ ধির আহবান জানিও না , তোমরাই হবে প ্ রবল । আল ্ লাহই তোমাদের সাথে আছেন । তিনি কখনও তোমাদের কর ্ ম হ ্ রাস করবেন না ।

but they said : ' have no fear , and do not be sad . surely , we will save you and your family except your wife , she has become of those that shall remain behind '
আর যখন আমাদের বাণীবাহকরা লূতের কাছে এসেছিল , তিনি তাদের জন ্ য দুঃখিত হয়েছিলেন এবং তাদের জন ্ য অসমর ্ থ মনে করলেন । কিন ্ তু তারা বলেছিল -- ''ভয় করো না আর দুঃখও করো না। আমরা আলবৎ তোমাকে উদ্ধার করব আর তোমার পরিজনবর্গকেও -- তোমার স্ত্রীকে ব্যতীত, সে হচ্ছে পেছনে পড়ে থাকাদের দলের।

“ o my sons , go and search for yusuf and his brother , and do not lose hope in the mercy of allah ; indeed none lose hope in the mercy of allah except the disbelieving people . ”
''হে আমার ছেলেরা! তোমরা যাও এবং ইউসুফ ও তার ভাইয়ের খোঁজ কর, আর আল্লাহ্‌র আশিস সন্বন্ধে নিরাশ হয়ো না। নিঃসন্দেহ অবিশ্বাসী লোকেরা ছাড়া অন্য কেউ আল্লাহ্‌র আশিস সন্বন্ধে নিরাশ হয় না।’’

say : call upon allah or call upon , the beneficent allah ; whichever you call upon , he has the best names ; and do not utter your prayer with a very raised voice nor be silent with regard to it , and seek a way between these .
বলুনঃ আল ্ লাহ বলে আহবান কর কিংবা রহমান বলে , যে নামেই আহবান কর না কেন , সব সুন ্ দর নাম তাঁরই । আপনি নিজের নামায আদায়কালে স ্ বর উচ ্ চগ ্ রাসে নিয়ে গিয়ে পড়বেন না এবং নিঃশব ্ দেও পড়বেন না । এতদুভয়ের মধ ্ যমপন ্ থা অবলম ্ বন করুন ।

they taught the people witchcraft and what was revealed in babylon to the two angels harut and marut . they did not teach anybody until they had said , “ we are a test , so do not lose faith . ”
আর তারা তার অনুসরণ করে যা শয়তানরা সুলাইমানের রাজত ্ বে চালু করেছিল , আর সুলাইমান অবিশ ্ বাস পোষণ করেন নি , বরং শয়তান অবিশ ্ বাস করেছিল , তারা লোকজনকে জাদুবিদ ্ যা শেখাতো , আর তা বাবেলে হারূত ও মারূত এই দুই ফিরিশ ্ ‌ তার কাছে নাযিল হয় নি , আর এই দুইজন কাউকে শেখায়ও নি যাতে তাদের বলতে হয় -- “ আমরা এক পরীক ্ ষা মাত ্ র , অতএব অবিশ ্ বাস করো না । ” সুতরাং এই দুইয়ের থেকে তারা শিখেছে যার দ ্ বারা স ্ বামী ও তার স ্ ত ্ রীর মধ ্ যে বিচ ্ ছেদ ঘটে । কিন ্ তু তারা এর দ ্ বারা কারো ক ্ ষতি করতে পারে না আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র অনুমতি ব ্ যতীত । আর তারা তাই শেখে যা তাদের ক ্ ষতিসাধন করে , এবং তাদের উপকার করে না । আর অবশ ্ যই তারা জানে যে এটা যে কিনে নেয় তার জন ্ য পরকালে কোনো লাভের অংশ থাকবে না । আর আফসোস , এটা মন ্ দ যার বিনিময়ে তারা নিজেদের আ ‌ ত ্ মা বিক ্ রয় করেছে , -- যদি তারা জানতো !

and they followed what the devils used to read during the rule of sulaiman ( solomon peace and – blessings be upon him ) ; and sulaiman did not disbelieve , but the devils disbelieved – they teach people magic ; and that which was sent down to the two angels , harut and marut in babylon ; and the two ( angels ) never taught a thing to anyone until they used to say , “ we are only a trial , therefore do not lose your faith ” and they used to learn from them that by which they cause division between man and his wife ; and they cannot harm anyone by it except by allah s command ’ ; and they learn what will harm them , not benefit them ; and surely they know that whoever bargains for this will not have a share in the hereafter ; and for what an abject thing they have sold themselves ; if only they knew !
