অতঃপর তারা যদি আপনার কথায় সাড়া না দেয় , তবে জানবেন , তারা শুধু নিজের প ্ রবৃত ্ তির অনুসরণ করে । আল ্ লাহর হেদায়েতের পরিবর ্ তে যে ব ্ যক ্ তি নিজ প ্ রবৃত ্ তির অনুসরণ করে , তার চাইতে অধিক পথভ ্ রষ ্ ট আর কে ? নিশ ্ চয় আল ্ লাহ জালেম সম ্ প ্ রদায়কে পথ দেখান না ।

your lord said : “ pray to me , and i will accept your prayers . surely those who wax too proud to worship me shall enter hell , utterly abased . ”
আর তোমাদের প ্ রভু বলেন -- ''তোমরা আমাকে আহ্বান করো, আমি তোমাদের প্রতি সাড়া দেব। নিঃসন্দেহ যারা আমাকে উপাসনা করার বেলা অহংকার বোধ করে তারা অচিরেই জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে লাঞ্ছিত অবস্থায়।’’

only those who have understanding will accept your faith . ( those who have no understanding ) are like the dead whom god will resurrect and to him will all return .
কেবল তারাই সাড়া দেয় যারা শোনে । আর মৃতের সন ্ বন ্ ধে -- আল ্ লাহ ্ তাদের পুনর ্ জীবিত করবেন , তখন তাঁর দিকেই তাদের ফিরিরে আনা হবে ।

আর আল ্ লাহ ্ চান যে তিনি তোমাদের দিকে সর ্ বদা ফেরেন , কিন ্ তু যারা কাম-লালসার অনুসরণ করে তারা চায় তোমরাও যেন গহীন বিপথে পথ হারাও ।

allah wants to accept your repentance , but those who follow [ their ] passions want you to digress [ into ] a great deviation .
আর আল ্ লাহ ্ চান যে তিনি তোমাদের দিকে সর ্ বদা ফেরেন , কিন ্ তু যারা কাম-লালসার অনুসরণ করে তারা চায় তোমরাও যেন গহীন বিপথে পথ হারাও ।

they asked moses , " have you come to turn us away from the faith of our fathers and to make yourselves the rulers in the land ? we shall never accept your faith . "
তারা বলল , তুমি কি আমাদেরকে সে পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে এসেছ যাতে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে ? আর যাতে তোমরা দুইজন এদেশের সর ্ দারী পেয়ে যেতে পার ? আমরা তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই মানব না ।

o muslims , do you then expect that these people will accept your invitation and become believers ? whereas there have always been among them some who have been hearing the word of god , understanding it well and then perverting and tampering with it knowingly .

''আমরা নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্‌র বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা সৃষ্টি করবো যদি আমরা ফিরে যাই তোমাদের ধর্মমতে তা থেকে আল্লাহ্ আমাদের উদ্ধার করার পরেও, আর এটি আমাদের সমীচীন হবে না যে আমরা ওতে ফিরে যাই, যদি না আমাদের প্রভু আল্লাহ্ ইচ্ছে করেন। আমাদের প্রভু জ্ঞানে সব-কিছুতে ব্যাপকতা রাখেন। আল্লাহ্‌র উপরেই আমরা নির্ভর করি -- 'আমাদের প্রভু! আমাদের মধ্যে ও আমাদের সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে ন্যায্যভাবে নিস্পত্তি করে দাও, আর তুমিই নিস্পত্তিকারীদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ।’’

allah wants to make clear to you [ the lawful from the unlawful ] and guide you to the [ good ] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance . and allah is knowing and wise .
