if there were in them gods other than god , they would have gone to ruin . so glory be to god , lord of the throne , beyond what they allege .
यदि इन दोनों में अल्लाह के सिवा दूसरे इष्ट - पूज्य भी होते तो दोनों की व्यवस्था बिगड़ जाती । अतः महान और उच्च है अल्लाह , राजासन का स्वामी , उन बातों से जो ये बयान करते है

and those of you who die , leaving wives , they shall wait by themselves for four months and ten nights ; when they have reached their term then it is no fault in you what they may do with themselves honourably . god is aware of the things you do .
और तुममें से जो लोग मर जाएँ और अपने पीछे पत्नियों छोड़ जाएँ , तो वे पत्नियों अपने - आपको चार महीने और दस दिन तक रोके रखें । फिर जब वे अपनी निर्धारित अवधि को पहुँच जाएँ , तो सामान्य नियम के अनुसार वे अपने लिए जो कुछ करें , उसमें तुमपर कोई गुनाह नहीं । जो कुछ तुम करते हो , अल्लाह उसकी ख़बर रखता है

पस हमने उनकीे एहद शिकनी की वजह से उनपर लानत की और उनके दिलों को हमने ख़ुद सख्त बना दिया कि कलमात को उनके असली मायनों से बदल कर दूसरे मायनो में इस्तेमाल करते हैं और जिन जिन बातों की उन्हें नसीहत की गयी थी उनमें से एक बड़ा हिस्सा भुला बैठे और अब तो उनमें से चन्द आदमियों के सिवा एक न एक की ख्यानत पर बराबर मुत्तेला होते रहते हो तो तुम उन को माफ़ कर दो और दरगुज़र करो ख़ुदा एहसान करने वालों को ज़रूर दोस्त रखता है
