and thus is the seizure of your lord when he seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. indeed, his seizure is painful and severe.
ރަށްތައް (އެބަހީ: ރަށްތަކުގެ أهل ވެރިން) އަނިޔާވެރިވެގެންވާ حال، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ރަށްތައް ހިއްޕަވާހިނދު، އެކަލާނގެ ހިއްޕެވުންއޮތީ، އެފަދައިންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެ ހިއްޕެވުމަކީ، ވޭންދެނިވި، ގަދަފަދަ ކަމެކެވެ.

އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަކުރާ فاحش ކަންތައްތަކަކީ، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް މީގެކުރިން ކޮށްފައިނުވާ ކަންތައްތަކެކެވެ.

and were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.)
އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ފާފަވެރިކަމުގެ މަތީގައި ދެމިތިބޭ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.

and to lot we gave judgement and knowledge, and we saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.
لوط ގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حكمة ތެރިކަމާއި، علم ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ނުބައި ފާފަތައް ކޮށްއުޅުނު ރަށުގެ (މީހުންގެ) ކިބައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވީ، ނުބައިކަމުގެ أهل ވެރި، فاسق ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and [it is] so the hearts of those who disbelieve in the hereafter will incline toward it and that they will be satisfied with it and that they will commit that which they are committing.
އަދި (އެ شيطان ން ވަސްވާސްދީ އުޅެނީ) آخرة ދުވަހަށް إيمان ނުވާ މީހުންގެ ހިތްތައް އެ ވަސްވާހަށް ލެނބުމަށާއި، އެއުރެން އެކަމަށް ރުހި قبول ވުމަށާއި، އެއުރެން އެ އަރައަރައިގަންނަ ފާފަތަކަށް އަރައިގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

however, god will accept the repentance of whoever repents and reforms himself after committing injustice; he is all-forgiving and all-merciful.

those who accuse their spouses of committing adultery but have no witness except themselves, should testify four times saying, "god is my witness that i am telling the truth".
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތައް މެނުވީ ހެކިދޭބަޔަކު އެއުރެންނަށް ލިބިގެންނުވާ حال، އެއުރެންގެ އަނބީންނަށް قذف ކުރާމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއިން ކޮންމެ މީހަކު، اللَّه ގަންދީ ހަތަރު ހުވައިން ހުވާކުރުން ހުށްޓެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާއީ ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ މީހަކު ކަމަށެވެ.

and if you decide to dispense with a wife in order to take another, do not take away anything of what you might have given the first one, even if you had given her a heap of gold. would you take it back by slandering her and committing a manifest wrong?
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއް އަނތްބެއްގެ ޖާގަޔަށް އެހެން އަނތްބަކު ބަދަލުކުރަން އެދޭނަމަ، (އެބަހީ: އެކަކު ވަރިކޮށްފައި އަނެކަކާ އިންނަން قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ) އަދި، އެ އަނތްބަށް (ރަނުގެ ގޮތުން) ކިތަންމެ ގިނަ މުދާތަކެއް ދީފައިވިޔަސް އޭގެތެރެއިން އެއްޗެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަތުނުލާ ހުށިކަމެވެ. باطل ގޮތުގައި، އަދި، ފާޅުވެގެންވާ ފާފައެއް ކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެތަކެތި އަތުލަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

"and istafziz [literally means: befool them gradually] those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and any other call for allah's disobedience), make assaults on them with your cavalry and your infantry, mutually share with them wealth and children (by tempting them to earn money by illegal ways usury, etc., or by committing illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and make promises to them." but satan promises them nothing but deceit.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން، ކަލޭގެޔަށް ކުޅަދާނަވީ ބަޔަކު، ކަލޭގެ އަޑުން ބިރުގަންނަވައި ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެ ސަވާރުންތަކާއި، ފައިމަގުގައިވާ މީހުންތައް މެދުވެރިކޮށް، އެއުރެންގެމައްޗަށް ބާރުހިންގާށެވެ! އަދި މުދާތަކާއި، ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުތަކުގައި އެއުރެން ބައިވެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރާށެވެ! ހެއްލުންތެރިކަމެއްމެނުވީ، شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.
