اور اس نے (یوں) اچھائی (یعنی دینِ حق اور آخرت) کو جھٹلایا،

اور اے موسٰی یہ تمہارے داہنے ہاتھ میں کیا ہے

and believes in the truth of what is right,
اور اس نے (اِنفاق و تقوٰی کے ذریعے) اچھائی (یعنی دینِ حق اور آخرت) کی تصدیق کی،

yet man is sceptical of what is right before him.
بلکہ آدمی چاہتا ہے کہ اس کی نگاہ کے سامنے بدی کرے

then he inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it;
پھر اس نے اسے اس کی بدکاری اور پرہیزگاری (کی تمیز) سمجھا دی،

be tolerant; enjoin what is right; and avoid the ignorant.
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) آپ درگزر فرمانا اختیار کریں، اور بھلائی کا حکم دیتے رہیں اور جاہلوں سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرلیں،

hold to forgiveness; command what is right; but turn away from the ignorant.
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) آپ درگزر فرمانا اختیار کریں، اور بھلائی کا حکم دیتے رہیں اور جاہلوں سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرلیں،

and inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.

the believers, jews, sabaeans, and the christians who believe in god and the day of judgment and who do what is right will have nothing to fear nor will they be grieved.
