وہ ضرور سکول جائیں گا

though we did not give them any scriptures that they might have studied, nor did we send them any warner before you.
اور ان (مکہ والوں) کو نہ تو ہم نے کتابیں دے رکھی ہیں جنہیں یہ پڑھتے ہوں نہ ان کے پاس آپ سے پہلے کوئی آگاه کرنے واﻻ آیا

"who has done this to our deities? he must be a wrongdoer."
(اُنہوں نے آ کر بتوں کا یہ حال دیکھا تو) کہنے لگے "ہمارے خداؤں کا یہ حال کس نے کر دیا؟ بڑا ہی کوئی ظالم تھا وہ"

they said, "who has done this to our gods? he must indeed be some man of impiety!"
(اُنہوں نے آ کر بتوں کا یہ حال دیکھا تو) کہنے لگے "ہمارے خداؤں کا یہ حال کس نے کر دیا؟ بڑا ہی کوئی ظالم تھا وہ"

as such we make plain our verses, so that they can say: 'you have studied' in order that we clarify it to a nation that knows.
اور اسی طرح ہم مختلف طریقوں سے دلائل بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ کہیں کہ تو نے کسی سے پڑھا ہے اور تاکہ ہم سمجھداروں کے لیے واضح کر دیں

'who has done this to our gods' they exclaimed. 'he must surely be a harmdoer'
(اُنہوں نے آ کر بتوں کا یہ حال دیکھا تو) کہنے لگے "ہمارے خداؤں کا یہ حال کس نے کر دیا؟ بڑا ہی کوئی ظالم تھا وہ"

and thus do we diversify the verses so the disbelievers will say, "you have studied," and so we may make the qur'an clear for a people who know.
اور اسی طرح ہم مختلف طریقوں سے دلائل بیان کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ کہیں کہ تو نے کسی سے پڑھا ہے اور تاکہ ہم سمجھداروں کے لیے واضح کر دیں

and after them in their place, came those unworthy successors who inherited the books – they accept the goods of this world (as bribes) and say, “we shall soon be forgiven”; and if similar goods come to them again, they would accept it; was not the covenant taken from them in the book, that they must not relate anything to allah except the truth, and they have studied it? and indeed the abode of the hereafter is better for the pious; so do you not have sense?
اس کے بعد ان میں ایک نسل پیدا ہوئی جو کتاب کی وراث تو بنی لیکن دنیا کا ہر مال لیتی رہی اور یہ کہتی رہی کہ عنقریب ہمیں بخش دیا جائے گا اور پھر ویسا ہی مال مل گیا تو پھر لے لیا تو کیا ان سے کتاب کا عہد نہیں لیا گیا کہ خبردار خدا کے بارے میں حق کے علاوہ کچھ نہ کہیں اور انہوں نے کتاب کو پڑھا بھی ہے اور دار آخرت ہی صاحبان هتقویٰ کے لئے بہترین ہے کیا تمھاری سمجھ میں نہیں آتا ہے
