remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed.
آپ(ص) یاددہانی کرتے رہیے! کہ آپ اپنے پروردگار کے فضل و کرم سے نہ کاہن ہیں اور نہ مجنون۔

wherefore admonish thou! thou art not, by the grace of thy lord, a soothsayer or a madman.
آپ(ص) یاددہانی کرتے رہیے! کہ آپ اپنے پروردگار کے فضل و کرم سے نہ کاہن ہیں اور نہ مجنون۔

therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman.
سو (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) آپ نصیحت فرماتے رہیں پس آپ اپنے رب کے فضل و کرم سے نہ تو کاہن (یعنی جنّات کے ذریعے خبریں دینے والے) ہیں اور نہ دیوانے،

but for the grace of god and his mercy (much harm would have been done); yet god is compassionate and kind.
اور اگر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت تم پر نہ ہوتی اور یہ کہ اللہ تم پر نہایت مہربان مہروالا ہے،
