مجھے تمھارے پیار کی ضرورت ہے

say: “i know not whether what you are promised is near or whether my lord will prolong its term.
آپ فرما دیں: میں نہیں جانتا کہ جس (روزِ قیامت) کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے وہ قریب ہے یا اس کے لئے میرے رب نے طویل مدت مقرر فرما دی ہے،

this was how you considered your lord, but he knows you better than you know yourselves. thus, you are now lost".
او رتمہارے اسی خیال نے جو تم نے اپنے رب کے حق میں کیا تھا تمہیں برباد کیا پھر تم نقصان اٹھانے والو ں میں سے ہوگئے

and you are naught but a mortal like ourselves, and we know you to be certainly of the liars.
اور تم اور کچھ نہیں ہم ہی جیسے آدمی ہو۔ اور ہمارا خیال ہے کہ تم جھوٹے ہو

but if they turn away, then say, "i have announced to [all of] you equally. and i know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.
اگر وہ منہ پھیریں تو کہہ دو کہ "میں نے علی الاعلان تم کو خبردار کر دیا ہے اب یہ میں نہیں جانتا کہ وہ چیز جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے قریب ہے یا دُور

say (o muhammad saw): "i know not whether (the punishment) which you are promised is near or whether my lord will appoint for it a distant term.
آپ فرما دیں: میں نہیں جانتا کہ جس (روزِ قیامت) کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے وہ قریب ہے یا اس کے لئے میرے رب نے طویل مدت مقرر فرما دی ہے،

they will say, “yes, a warner did come to us, but we disbelieved, and said, ‘god did not send down anything; you are very much mistaken.’”
تو وہ کہیں گے کہ آیا تو تھا لیکن ہم نے اسے جھٹلادیا اور یہ کہہ دیا کہ اللہ نے کچھ بھی نازل نہیں کیا ہے تم لوگ خود بہت بڑی گمراہی میں مبتلا ہو

god has lightened your burden as he knows you are weak: so, if there are a hundred men of firm determination among you, they will vanquish two hundred; and if there are a thousand of you they will vanquish two thousand by the will of god, for god is with those who are determined.
اب اللہ نے تم پر سے تخفیف فرمائی اور اسے علم کہ تم کمزو ر ہو تو اگر تم میں سو صبر والے ہوں د و سو پر غالب آئیں گے اور اگر تم میں کے ہزار ہوں تو دو ہزار پر غالب ہوں گے اللہ کے حکم سے اور اللہ صبر والوں کے ساتھ ہے،
