حقیقت یہ ہے (اے کفّار!) تم جلد ملنے والی (دنیا) کو محبوب رکھتے ہو،

اور اس کی (قدرت کی) نشانیوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ اس نے تمہارے لئے تمہاری ہی جنس سے بیویاں پیدا کیں تاکہ تم ان سے سکون حاصل کرو۔ اور تمہارے درمیان محبت اور رحمت (نرم دلی و ہمدردی) پیدا کر دی۔ بے شک اس میں غور و فکر کرنے والوں کیلئے بہت نشانیاں ہیں۔

اے آدم کی اولاد تم مسجد کی حاضری کے وقت اپنا لباس پہن لیا کرو اور کھاؤ اور پیئو اور حد سے نہ نکلو بے شک الله حد سے نکلنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا

you have been enjoined to go to war, and you dislike it; it may be that you dislike a thing and the same is good for you, and you love a thing and the same is bad for you: allah knows but you do not.
(اے مسلمانو!) تم پر جنگ کرنا فرض کیا گیا ہے جب کہ وہ تمہیں ناگوار ہے۔ اور یہ ممکن ہے کہ جس چیز کو تم ناپسند کرتے ہو وہ تمہارے لئے اچھی ہو۔ اور یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ جس چیز کو تم پسند کرتے ہو وہ تمہارے لئے بری ہو (اچھی نہ ہو) اصل بات یہ ہے کہ اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے تم نہیں جانتے۔
