Ҳар кас, ки тавба кунад ва имон оварад ва кори шоиста кунад ва ба роҳи ҳидоят бияфтад, ӯро мебахшоем.

but indeed, i am the perpetual forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.

and indeed i am most oft forgiving for him who repented and accepted faith and did good deeds, and then remained upon guidance.

and when they do some lewdness they say: we found our fathers doing it and allah hath enjoined it on us.
Чун кори зиште кунанд, гӯянд: «Падарони худро низ чунин ёфтаем ва Худо моро ба он фармон додааст».

my nation, do according to your position; as i am doing; and certainly you will know to whom the degrading punishment will come and who is a liar.
Эй қавми ман, шумо ҳамчунон, ки ҳастед, ба кори худ машғул бошед ва ман ҳам ба кори худ машғул мешавам. Ба зуди хоҳед донист, ки он азоби хоркунанда бар чӣ касе фурӯд меояд ва чӣ касе дурӯғгӯст.

and when they commit an immorality, they say, "we found our fathers doing it, and allah has ordered us to do it."
Чун кори зиште кунанд, гӯянд: «Падарони худро низ чунин ёфтаем ва Худо моро ба он фармон додааст».

ва гуфт: «Ман Парвардигори бартари шумо ҳастам!»

Ё он ки махлуқотро меофаринад, сипас онҳоро бозмегардонад ва он, ки аз осмону замин ба шумо рӯзӣ медиҳад.

Барояшон зиндагии дунёро мисол ор» ки чун боронест, ки аз осмон биборад ва бо он гиёҳони гуногун ба фаровонӣ бирӯяд. Ногоҳ хушк шавад ва бод ба ҳар сӯ парокандааш созад ва Худо бар ҳар коре тавоност!

and when your lord said to the angels, i am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said: what! wilt thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood, and we celebrate thy praise and extol thy holiness?
Ва чун Парвардигорат ба фариштагон гуфт: «Ман дар замин халифае меофаринам», гуфтанд: «Оё касеро меофарини, ки дар он ҷо фасод кунад ва хунҳо бирезад ва ҳол он ки мо ба ситоиши Ту тасбеҳ мегӯем ва Туро ба поки иқрор мекунем?».

and verily, i am indeed forgiving to him who repents, believes (in my oneness, and associates none in worship with me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them, (till his death).
Ҳар кас, ки тавба кунад ва имон оварад ва кори шоиста кунад ва ба роҳи ҳидоят бияфтад, ӯро мебахшоем.

are you then eager that they should believe you, though a part of them would hear the word of allah and then they would distort it after they had understood it, and they knew [what they were doing]?
Оё тамаъ медоред, ки ба шумо имон биёваранд ва ҳол он ки гурӯҳе аз онҳо каломи Худоро мешуниданд ва бо он ки ҳақиқати онро меёфтанд, тағйираш мекарданд ва аз кори хеш огоҳ буданд?

and when the prophet confided to one of his wives a certain matter; and then, when she told of it, and god disclosed that to him, he made known part of it, and turned aside from part; then, when he told her of it, she said, 'who told thee this?'
Он гоҳ ки паёмбар бо яке аз занони худ розе дар миён ниҳод, чун он зан он роз бо дигаре бозгуфт. Худо паёмбарро аз он огоҳ сохт ва ӯ баъзе аз он розро бар он зан ошкор, кард ва аз ифшон баъзеи дигар рӯй тофт.

and (remember) when your lord said to the angels, “i am about to place my caliph in the earth”; they said, “will you place (as a caliph) one who will spread turmoil in it and shed blood? whereas we glorify you with praise and proclaim your sanctity”; he said, “i know what you do not.”
Ва чун Парвардигорат ба фариштагон гуфт: «Ман дар замин халифае меофаринам», гуфтанд: «Оё касеро меофарини, ки дар он ҷо фасод кунад ва хунҳо бирезад ва ҳол он ки мо ба ситоиши Ту тасбеҳ мегӯем ва Туро ба поки иқрор мекунем?». Гуфт: «Ман он донам, ки шумо намедонед».
