and when your lord said to the angels, i am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said: what! wilt thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood, and we celebrate thy praise and extol thy holiness?
Ва чун Парвардигорат ба фариштагон гуфт: «Ман дар замин халифае меофаринам», гуфтанд: «Оё касеро меофарини, ки дар он ҷо фасод кунад ва хунҳо бирезад ва ҳол он ки мо ба ситоиши Ту тасбеҳ мегӯем ва Туро ба поки иқрор мекунем?».

and verily, i am indeed forgiving to him who repents, believes (in my oneness, and associates none in worship with me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them, (till his death).

are you then eager that they should believe you, though a part of them would hear the word of allah and then they would distort it after they had understood it, and they knew [what they were doing]?
Оё тамаъ медоред, ки ба шумо имон биёваранд ва ҳол он ки гурӯҳе аз онҳо каломи Худоро мешуниданд ва бо он ки ҳақиқати онро меёфтанд, тағйираш мекарданд ва аз кори хеш огоҳ буданд?

and when the prophet confided to one of his wives a certain matter; and then, when she told of it, and god disclosed that to him, he made known part of it, and turned aside from part; then, when he told her of it, she said, 'who told thee this?'
Он гоҳ ки паёмбар бо яке аз занони худ розе дар миён ниҳод, чун он зан он роз бо дигаре бозгуфт. Худо паёмбарро аз он огоҳ сохт ва ӯ баъзе аз он розро бар он зан ошкор, кард ва аз ифшон баъзеи дигар рӯй тофт.

and (remember) when your lord said to the angels, “i am about to place my caliph in the earth”; they said, “will you place (as a caliph) one who will spread turmoil in it and shed blood? whereas we glorify you with praise and proclaim your sanctity”; he said, “i know what you do not.”
Ва чун Парвардигорат ба фариштагон гуфт: «Ман дар замин халифае меофаринам», гуфтанд: «Оё касеро меофарини, ки дар он ҷо фасод кунад ва хунҳо бирезад ва ҳол он ки мо ба ситоиши Ту тасбеҳ мегӯем ва Туро ба поки иқрор мекунем?». Гуфт: «Ман он донам, ки шумо намедонед».
