Бигӯ: «Оё ҷуз яке аз он ду некӣ интизори чизи дигареро барои мо доред? Вале мо мунтазирем, ки азоби Худо ё аз ҷониби Ӯ ё ба дасти мо ба шумо бирасад.

Дар он рӯз аз паи он доъӣ (Исрофил), ки ҳеҷ каҷиро дар ӯ роҳ нест, равон гарданд. Ва садоҳо дар баробари Худои раҳмон паст мешаванд ва аз ҳеҷ кас ғайри садои пое нахоҳӣ шунид.

and strive hard in allah's cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that his name should be superior).
Дар роҳи Худованд, чунон ки бояд ҷиҳод кунед. Ӯ шуморо баргузид.

those to whom we have given the book follow it as it ought to be followed: they have faith in it. as for those who deny it—it is they who are the losers.
Касоне, ки китобашон додаем ва ончунон, ки сазовор аст, онро мехонанд, ба он имон доранд ва онон, ки ба он имон надоранд, зиёнкорон ҳастанд.

and whoever desires the hereafter and strives for it as he ought to strive and he is a believer; (as for) these, their striving shall surely be accepted.
Ва ҳар кӣ хоҳони охират бошад ва дар талаби он саъй кунад ва мӯъмин бошад, ҷазои саъйаш дода хоҳад шуд.

as for monasticism, it is they who invented it; we did not prescribe it for them. they themselves invented it in pursuit of allah's good pleasure, and then they did not observe it as it ought to have been observed.
Ва руҳбонияте (узлат; гӯшанншинӣ), ки ба бидъат овардаанд, Мо бар онҳо муқаррар накардаем, аммодар он хушнудии Худо меҷӯстанд, вале ҳаққи, онро ба ҷо нагузориданд.
