aha! there you are, pleading for them in the life of this world! but who will plead for them with allah on the day of resurrection, or will be their defender?
Огоҳ бошед, ин шумоед, ки дар ин ҷаҳон аз онон сахт ҷонибдорӣ кардед, кист, ки дар рӯзи қиёмат аз онон дар баробари Худо ҷонибдорӣ кунад ё чӣ касе вакили онҳо хоҳад буд?

and they say: "when is this promise (i.e. the day of resurrection will be fulfilled) if you are truthful?"
Ва мегӯянд: «Агар рост мегӯед, ин ваъда (қиёмат) чӣ вақт фаро расад?»

that will be the day of reckoning. gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations).
Ин рӯз рӯзи фасл аст, ки шумо ва пешиниёнатонро гирд меоварем.

do you think that you will be left [as you are] while allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for his cause] and do not take other than allah, his messenger and the believers as intimates?
Оё пиндоштаед, ки шуморо ба ҳоли худ вомегузоранд, бе он ки Худо касоне аз шуморо, ки ҷиҳод мекунанд ва ҷуз Худову паёмбараш ва мӯъминонро ба ҳамрозӣ намегиранд, маълум дорад?

(it will be said to them) “and you will not benefit from them this day, whereas you are unjust – for you are all partners in the punishment.”
Чун ситам кардед, он рӯз пушаймонӣ фоида накунад ва ҳар ду дар азоб шарик бошед.

the officials said: "if you are lying, what will be the penalty for him who has stolen?"
Гуфтанд: «Агар дурӯғ гуфта бошед, ҷазои дузд чист?»

so do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.
Сустӣ макунед ва андӯҳгин мабошед, зеро агар имон оварда бошед, шумо ғолиб ҳастед.

what you are calling me to is surely not worth the calling in this world or in the next, because our returning is to god; and because the transgressors will be inmates of hell.
Бешак он чӣ шумо маро ба он даъват мекунед, тавонои онаш нест, ки дар дунёву охират касеро ба сӯи худ хонад, ҳол он ки бозгашти мо ба сӯи Худои яктост ва таҷовузкорон дар ҷаҳаннам бошанд.

and their prophet said to them, “indeed the sign of his kingdom will be the coming of a (wooden) box to you, in which from your lord is the contentment of hearts and containing some souvenirs (remnants) left behind by the honourable moosa and the honourable haroon (aaron), borne by the angels; indeed in it is a great sign* for you if you are believers.”
